Must go to in Praia - Edit
We were so happy to have found this place on our only night in Praia, what a gem! While there's nothing vegan listed on the menu, we mentioned our dietary preferences when making the reservation and were treated to a delicious surprise.
Read moreThe setting is lovely, we really enjoyed the mix of indoor and outdoor space and the decor. The only two (minor!) downsides were that the staff forgot our drinks order and we had to repeat it, and the food was just a little too salty for my personal taste.
That said, we absolutely loved the experience and will definitely be back next time we're in town. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a special dinner in Praia!

The manager was able to make us a range of different vegan food despite not being prepared for us. We had enoki mushroom bruschetta, padron peppers, potatoes in red pepper sauce, fried green banana with guacamole, fried veg and rice. You should call the day before to warn them you are coming for vegan food. Best food we ate in Praia

We were recommended this place by the manager of Tambake Bio. The owner, Caesar, is excellent. It was honestly one of the most flavour packed meals I've had in a while. The best thing was that it had lots of protein - seitan and tofu.
Read moreThe food was completely off menu. You just need to go ask for Caesar the day before you plan to come for dinner and let him know you're vegan, then he will do the rest.
We had 3 dishes - huge portions and fair price. One was a crispy bread with a delicious sauce topping, the next was seitan tacos and finally a tofu mix on fried plantain patties. Wow all of it knocked our socks off. This is a must!
