Various vegan options and friendly owner - Edit
The menu includes several vegan options. Some are labeled, others not. But the owner is very knowledgeable about vegan and happy to help. When I booked, I said I was vegan and she spontaneously explained me all the vegan options of the menu (all the starters, 2 mains and 3 deserts).

Nicely decorated and dog-friendly place.

One vegan option - Edit
We had dinner here, on a Friday evening.
Read moreJust one vegan option on menu. Everything else is with dairy cheese :-/
So we each had a sort of flammkuche with coconut yoghurt and tofu and vegetables (dont remember price).
We ordered a salad on the side (7,50€)
It was OK, but not really culinairy exciting.
Nice location, especially the terrace, on a quiet square next to historical church. Uncomfy chairs though.
Inside a bit old fashioned style.
Part of restaurant at front entrance is accessible, with accessible toilet.
Friendly, albeit reserved.
PS: very unclear opening hours. The opening hours on their FB and on Happy Cow dont match the hours on their website, nor on google.
We found out by accident when passing in late afternoon that it was indeed open in the evening, from 7pm onwards.

Very tasty organic daily menu and desert - Edit
We tried the daily menu for 16 Euros and it came with a delicious lentil salad and a plat au paisanne. The portions were big enough and the desert was a choice between a pie, raisins and a mousse au chocolat. We tried the pie and mousse and liked it. We asked about vegan options but for the main course they only had vegetarian. Probably the lentil salad and the mousse were vegan.

The friendliest people! And great food - Edit
We came after the kitchen had closed, but still they offered to serve us a three course meal. The staff is so genuinely friendly. The food was fresh and very good. We had a cold soup with bread, bulgur with peanut stew, and cardamom cake. The seating area is nice too, very relaxed and right next to an 11th century old church (with a falcon that nests there).

Charmée - Edit
I understood the 3-course lunch menu tends to be vegan by default (like, for desert they had two options, and one was lactovegetarian: everything else was vegan)
Read moreThe food is organic and affordable (menu changes daily I understood), and the staff is really cool.
By organic, I mean: they also have excellent local organic BEERS :) (...and wine, of course)
Also, I really enjoyed the location; we had nice weather so we could eat outside (with a view on a nice romanic church - tourists: it's totally worth visiting), yet the inside is lovely as well (it's an old cellar, very cosy).
Pros: Location, Organic food & beers, Nice vibe

VEGAN friendly ; Very good ; Affordable ; BIO - Edit
Every lunch you can eat a vegetarian or vegan menu. Everything is bio. It's really not expensive and very good !

Nice Place - Edit
Unfortunately it's hard to find a vegetarian restaurant in Alsace, so this was a positiv surprise. Nice place in a nice location and friendly staff.
