Meat in my "Vegetarian Fried Rice"

I used to get take out from Lab C quite a bit despite the high prices. The tofu spring rolls are great 80% of the time (peanut sauce needs Sriracha though). Sometimes the rice paper is a bit tough.

I stopped eating here when I dined in and ordered the vegetarian fried rice with tofu. My wife ordered the beef fried rice. I ate a few bites of my dish until I found a chunk of beef. I asked the server if they cook it all on a flat top together and he said they do when they're busy. It was only us and one other table in the restaurant so I'm assuming it's the norm.

I didn't eat any more of my meal and told the server I didn't want it when he asked if I needed a box. They didn't offer any solution, refund, or even apologize. I guess they didn't see anything wrong with beef in a dish literally titled "vegetarian fried rice" on the menu.

Delicious food, smiling staff

This is our new favorite place to eat in Bastrop, Texas! The food is fabulous and the veggies are always fresh and crunchy. The staff are so attentive and take extra time to make sure they have your order and preferences right. This is a clean family owned restaurant - the young couple that owns it are so pleasant and cheerful! The provide delicious sauces with each meal and you decide your heat level (1-5). I didn't realize I enjoyed Vietnamese food until visiting this restaurant!

Pros: Delicious food, Smiling staff, Plenty of food
