Get them a restaurant.

LA2HI GRINDZ

First, support small businesses!
Secondly, for the small tent they have- they make quite the treat, here’s what I got:

Taquitos-good snack :)

horchata- tasted good, don’t know what to compare it to

potato ball- fun concept, oddly satisfying to each, very enjoyable

empanada- yummy!

Exceded my expectations, would love to see them open up a restaurant and do much more. Give them a chance if you have the opportunity to!

Pros: Great taste, Fun and diverse selection, Quick service

Potato ball

I came to the kaka’ako farmers market market specifically for this place and then discovered the market is a vegan haven. I decided to order the potato ball. They have many other corn based items, tacos, and taquitos. Their menu says *vegan options* which is kind of misleading as the entire place is vegan.

Incredible Potato Balls and Elotes

We grab something from them every time we are at the Kakaako Farmers Market. Every meal has been incredible.

Favorites: Potato Ball, Burrito bowl, Birria Bowl, Empanadas.

Love that they’re a family run business and everyone is always helping out. Went there to try all their new stuff. My husband said no to trying the dessert (I did get a lot of stuff!! 😬) & the owner handed me one for free which I thought was super sweet and I really appreciated it.

Vegan option at Farmers Market

We got a taco, taquitos, and Shredded Pork Corn Bowl. All were tasty and it was nice to try a variety of flavors and mock meats. Would recommend stopping by this place at the market.

Their sign says ‘Vegan Options Available’ which is misleading as everything is vegan on the menu (with no exceptions). I think it’s just a way to get omnis to eat here since being a vegan food stand can be harder to get customers. I typically like to support all Vegan businesses first, so I passed by this stand to look for an all-vegan place. But happy cow led me back to them which I am glad for.

Pros: Lots of options, Good food, All vegan

Cons: Slightly confusing signage

I have been living in Hawaii for 14 years and I never had Saturday off, I first time tried this place today. It was amazing!!! It’s all vegan, vegan Empanada, I could eat 10 of them 😂😂 I really wanted to try potato balls but it was sold out. I have to try them next time!! Staff is friendly too🤙

Corn in the Morn

I ordered the OG (corn, butter, mayonnaise, and cheese) and a rellena de papa (breaded ball of mashed potatoes stuffed with seasoned ground “beef” (picadillo) flash fried and served with a side of salsa rosada). The OG was good, but more of a snack rather than a meal (in terms of size, not calories). I didn't really like the flavor of the beef, but enjoyed the rellena de papa otherwise.

Pros: all vegan

Cons: plastic salsa containers, small portions

Great food stall

We saw their stall at a small food market. I loved their corn and their hearts of palm ceviche. Definitely check them out!
