amazing food and feel at home

Emilia is such a sweetie! It was ciesta time when we arrived but Emilia welcomed us in and prepared meals for us with what she has left. we wernt sure what to expect but it was delicious! We felt so at home! would definitely recommend this place! Emilia has been vegan for 30 years so she knows how to cook! you can also buy some vegan goodies from here too ?

Pros: Homely vibe with great service

Cons: none!

Best meal in Italy, organic, vegan and the loveliest owner

This place blew us away. How special to find a vegan restaurant in a little town in Italy. We had an evening we will never forget thanks to Emilia's food and hospitality. The most delicious ravioli, creamed spinach, tofu spring rolls, fresh salad and homemade bread. She had vegan wine and gluten free beer. She doesn't speak English but we made due with google translate and having veganism as a common language in our heart. We finished our incredible meals with both of the vegan deserts and she gave us vegan stickers before we left. By far the best meal and experience we've had in Italy. This place is not to be missed!!

Pros: fully vegan, fresh and local produce and organic when possible

Cons: it's really far from New Zealand!

good food and feel at home

We've been there several times and everything was ok with us. The menu change every time. There are about two choices for each course. The dishes are prepared with love and are really tasty. A cuisine that appeals to everyone, vegetarian or not. The lady who runs the place is just fantastic, with her you will certainly feel at home. The restaurant is small with a few tables so I suggest you book.

Pros: excellent food, friendly staff, good value

Cons: small restaurant

Yum!

Me and my non-veg family got offered a 5-course vegan meal after having booked for 5 persons (but just took 4 because it just was too much ... no small servings). ;)
Delicous, regional food! Yummy vegetables, pasta, self-made bread, vegan wine and so on.

It is important to mention that you really need to book/announce so that the two really nice holders can prepare!

It is a small and cozy place and I think it is hard for them to improvise if someone visits without arrangement.
But if you reserve (and tell them if you are vegetarian or vegan) they will make you a very lucky (and sated) person. =)

They also sell some organic products like lentils, egg-free mayo, soy milk, etc. Not only vegan.

Pros: friendly, tasty, homely

Cons: short of space, booking necessary, inconstant opening hours

Great Things come in small packages

Situated halfway down a narrow cobbled street, thIs small place is worth hunting out if you're in the area. The food is simple (it's whatever is being made today) so my wife and I both had exactly the same food, but it's well made and very tasty.

The owner is super friendly and was very accommodating over feeding our 10 month old (they don't have high chairs, so she sat in my lap) and even made her a little extra meal.

Of a week's visit to Lazio, this restaurant and the town it's situated in were definitely one of the most memorable. We'd go again.

Pros: Tasty, Cheap-To-Reasonable, Great location

Cons: Limited menu
