Croissant sandwich - Edit
The restaurant is in a basement, counter service. NOTE THEY DO NOT HAVE FREE WATER!! You need to buy a bottle of water, or bring your own. I wish I knew that. Feels like they just want you to spend more money on a drink. I had to park a ways away because it's in a touristy area, so no going back to grab my water bottle.
Read moreCaprese croissant sandwich was good, and that's hard to find as a vegan. The menu specified "thick" mozzarella slices, but they were just regular thickness. The little side of chips are Popchips.

What a Delightful Find! - Edit
Landed at St. Louis airport, starving, so checked Happy Cow for a nearby vegan restaurant. Chose La Vie Vegan and absolutely thrilled that we did. Extensive menu and everything was vegan!!! Food was interesting and delicious!!! Creative croissants, sandwiches, desserts. We liked it so much that we went back 5 days later before our flight back home.

My family and I had the veggie and BLT croissant with different cheeses and sauces and they had great flavor! The croissants are flakey and identical to a non vegan croissant.
Read moreWe also got some pastries such as the macaroons, maple pecan danish, and the raw squares, all were delicious as well.
The customer service is fantastic and everyone is super friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone!!

We had veggie crepes with mozzarella and pesto sauce. So good! Our grandson gobbled up a veggie hot dog in a pretzel bun and enjoyed playing in the well equipped play kitchen. He asked if he could come here again.

A visit to France - Edit
This is a very nice getaway spot. Greeted bonjour upon entrance, a very nice experience. The entrance is off the front and downstairs. Indoor and outdoor dining.

I went on opening day, and Can’t wait to go back and try more dishes. I was with one other vegan and two non-vegans and we all loved our food. Perfect spot for lunch or early dinner!
