Tienen dulces muy buenos y es un sirio realmente acogedor. Lo único que veo de malo es que tardan mucho tiempo en servirte la comida que no está preparada previamente, como las hamburguesas. Tardaron casi media hora en servir.

I was disappointed to see the bun come in a disposable plate, and the yoghurt in a plastic container! They have a vibe and leaflets saying they recycle everything in order to help the climate crsis... However, creating so much waste every time someone has food does not help! Instead a better approach to creating a lot less waste would be so much better.
They then also sell things like plastic-free coffee - the contrast on what products they sell and use makes me wonder if the activism here is mindful or just goes with "whats popular".

Customer care was also okay. The lady working there was amicable but she seemed to be very busy. Music was loud - if you want to use this place as a cafe to work, you will have to listen to their music as it played well over my own headphones!

We were very disappointed unfortunately but we may have been on an "off day" as most other reviews sound great! I can't bare the thought of giving a fully vegan place less than 3 stars but there was a point we nearly left. The ladies working on the day we went could not speak English (which is fine - we are in Spain of cours!). We tried with our limited Spanish to communicate but the waitress seemed to not be too helpful and we got the impression they just wanted to us leave as they sort of ignored us for a while.
Read moreThe food wasn't overly great. It says the food is healthy as their tagline on the door but it was very greasy. We had a Buddha bowl and it seemed to be very oily. The other item we ordered was Ok but was a pastry (we just ordered 2 things and hoped for the best as we weren't sure what they were because no English menu or speakers). The coffees were lovely and they had a great selection of cakes. Although we ordered a pistachio cake (one of the two signs in English on the cakes) but it was marzipan which I believe is almond? But it could have had pistachio in but we couldn't communicate to ask.
We had really high hopes and were disappointed. With an English menu it would have made it a lot easier. The only reason we thought this is because despite being in Spain, the tagline is in English and also had a couple of signs throughout in English.
Again, we may have just came on a bad day. The decor is so beautiful though and we love the concept of the place!
If you have better Spanish language skills then it wouldn't be a problem in that regard anyway :)

As stated in my recent review I rarely write them—defiantly not a note to the writer of another. Whatever ‘negative’ vibe/experience you had at this place I will support. The one woman was nice and I don’t want to mention her as part of the negative. It the one with glasses was very disrespectful—a gaslighter should not have any encounter with the public. The desserts actually were nothing special—-they looked more like a home baker’s work, not an overpriced restaurant. Trust me, even with positive reviews here, you analysis is absolutely correct!

Disappointing breakfast options - Edit
Very cozy place with options to sit and eat there. However it seems more a cake-selling place which does not seem very equipped for breakfast. When we were there they did not have the brioche-bread which eliminated quiet a few options (although the owner offered to go get some bread somewhere else for us). Even though the idea of an all-vegan place is great, the little options left, the very small portions and maybe most of all the use of only plastic utensils (cutlery, plates, cups, everything!) make it a place we would not go to anymore for breakfast.

La Vegana used to be a small place where to buy cakes. It's now a full cafe/restaurant (as of 2021) and it's fabulous. You can have breakfast/lunch/brunch, lots of options and they're all great!

Great place! Excellent cakes, breakfast, salads and coffees, cold drinks. As well, they carry a variety of local artisan vegan foods like chorizo sausage, cheese, etc. I'm not sure why this listing is only in the bakery section on happy cow as they offer so much more.

La mejor tarta que he comido en mi vida ha sido la de mousse de chocolates de esta pasteleria, muy amables, tartas muy bonitas y sobretodo riquisimas. Sin duda la mejor pasteleria, todas las tartas son veganas pero se las recomiendo a todo el mundo. :)

We tried the cookies, the chocolate muffin and the carrot cupcake, all of them were absolutely delicious, with a special distinction for the carrot-cupcake, which is the best cake we ever had (both of us!). We are very sure that non-vegan would never notice a difference. Go and try it!!!!

We were there 15 minutes before they closed and got only leftovers. Which were DELICIOUS. We could choose from some muffins and took orange and carrot. I regret not tasting them right there because I would totally have taken another ten. Especially the carrot one was good. It wasn’t cheap for the price (6€ for three muffins) BUT it’s totally worth it! EDIT: now the marker on the map is placed almost correctly.
