I tried to ask whether the rice and peas had ghee in it having explained it was a vegan which bizarrely soon became an argument culminating in him saying he knew What he was doing will bring the rice. when he did it was wrong. so he took it back and brought back probably the worst rice that I have ever had.
The main dish, mushroom curry, was insubstantial tinned and also poor quality.
The poppadoms were left on the counter by the kitchen whilst the waiter was doing something on his phone. They were cold and managed to be overcooked in part and raw in other parts.

At the end he came over and I was not going to say anything but he insisted on seeking my views which I just left as it was disappointing

There were several options on the menu plus he even made vegan rice only for me. He was very friendly and we had a nice chat while waiting on the food.

A very nice place. There is no vegan menu, but the owner is very thoughtful and is very open to preparing a vegan dish. Just ask and the owner is very service oriented. I highly recommend this place!

The only place with this many vegetarian (and vegan) options in the area, they even have a vegetarian/vegan menu (€17). Delicious food for a very reasonable price. Located at a cute historical square and the staff was very friendly. Would recommend!

Only place offering vegan options in the area ! - Edit
The staff was friendly and knew what "vegan" means. They offer to replace an ingredient in the Byriani to make it totally vegan and also warned me not to eat the free "mint sauce" as it wasn't vegan. It was really kind.
