Default butter in dishes

Went to this location and had a hard time describing that I am vegan and that I wanted to remove dairy items. I ordered the veggie fajitas and was informed that they use butter rather than oil for this dish. Had to stress that I would like oil in substitute of the butter but was still disappointed in the meal. The vegetables were very bland and still had a decent crunch to them, as if they were par cooked/not sautéed enough.

Good food, but modification needed

The food at La Tolteca was very good, there is a vegetarian section that is perfect for all the vegetarians out there and can be easily modified for my fellow vegans. The fresh guac in particular was a bit pricey but suuuper good. I left satisfied and would happily go back.

Pros: A good selection of Vegetarian options, Vegetarian options are easy to modify

Cons: Few Vegan options listed as is
