Great vegan place

Cute place, very yummy food. All options (only 4, the menu for lunch rotates every day) were vegan. The potato fries are particularly delicious and the main I got was really filling, good portion size. Staff is all really friendly as well. I loved the art on the walls as well. Might go back tomorrow while I’m visiting mvd:)

Edit: went back and had one of the local sandwiches with seitan. The seitan is all house made and really made well, very delicious and a good texture. The dessert I tried was excellent too! 😍 plus everything can be made vegan which is just great to find a place like this!

Muy rica comida

Restaurante que ofrece una variada carta vegetariana y vegana. Recomiendo la hamburguesa de seitan en pan de remolacha.

Bueno

Tienen varias opciones veganas y son ricas, aunque a veces les falta un poco de sabor. Los precios son acordes a las porciones. Lo más rico y que siempre recomiendo es el brownie, uno de los mejores que he probado!

Amazing pizza and good fast-food!

I've been there multiple times as its one of the firsts veg restaurants in the city, they've lately included way more vegan options into their menu. My favorite is the pizza, but they've many good options such as the burger and the risotto, also appetizers like the vegan mozzarella sticks and the nuggets are super good too. Shakes are available and desserts are great, love their peanut butter cookie + ice cream dessert.

Nice uruguayan food

I had a polenta and a seitan milanesa, which was good, but a tad bit overcooked. The staff was very friendly and willing to make adaptations to the dish. The food is not cheap, but Montevideo is not a cheap city...

Cool place

Neat little restaurant with vegan options of most food. We tried the milanesa and chivito, both were great. A little bit more expensive than we were expecting. Most dishes are minimum 350.

Mala onda

Pretencioso y mala atención. Mejor vayan a Vegan Wraps donde sí se ve la real escena vegana y no un montón de hipsters “temerarios”.

Pretentious and bad service. If you want to eat where the real vegan food is, go to to Vegan Wraps instead of this hipster house.

Really nice, local, fresh. Thoughtful menu.

The menu has interesting and diverse options, whoever wrote it out a lot of love into it. It wasn't a big menu, but it covered all the bases. It does vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, for starters, mains, deserts and drinks. Really impressed with the quality of the food, I got the milanesa and fresh lemonade. There were local craft beers available. The decor was nice and there was a good vibe. I'll definitely be returning.

Cozy place and delicious food!

The place is very cozy and the food is delicious. The price is very fair! And the waitresses are very nice.

One of the top 5 in town

La Temeraria offers an appealing mix of Uruguayan comfort food and healthier fare: how about a vegan milanesa or chivito with a salad and a smoothie? The food was tasty, service was warm, and there’s a pleasant alt-art atmosphere (as promised by the sign out front: “Rock & Food”). Enjoy!

Best vegan place in MVD

I really really enjoyed La Temeraria! They serve Vegan and/or veggie versions of typical Uruguayan food such as Milanese or chivitos. The food is a bit expensive (about 250-300 pesos) but ABSOLUTELY worth it! I can really recommend the Vegan chivito they make.
