Wouldn't try again - Edit
I came here because of the glowing reviews. It was great to have a vegan option to try, and I really appreciated it, but I wouldn't eat here again. Maybe I wouldn't be a fan of any tamal, I'm not sure. The dough was just kind of bland and mock meat is not my jam. Probably goes without saying, but it's not nutritious food, and it's in a busy mall food court. The juice was nice and the lady working the counter was indeed lovely.

yummy tamales, sweet owner - Edit
I had a really good vegan tamal here. The owner was super friendly, too! Be careful though, there are labeled "vegan" cookies that contain honey in the end! 🫣 Also I didn't like the plastic cuttlery.

Awesome Tamales!!! - Edit
Dude! Yes! So I came into this area for the botanical gardens and planetarium and I opened up happy cow to find this gem. So delicious and so exciting to have this option in the mall. I would highly recommend. The tamal I got was the paisa and it was very filling. I almost ordered more food but if you’re looking for something filling and yummy start with this.

Delicioso - Edit
Very good. I love tamales and it is so rare to find a veggie version. We ordered the first two menu options. Top one was a classic tamale with veggies and some sort of brown fake meet that was good. Second one down on menu was a rice one. Not really a tamale as it didn’t have masa. It had a chikn made of gluten. I really liked the first one. Both were pretty oily but that comes with tamales. The mora juice was really good. Tasted of a pina colada for some reason. Got full off just one (15.000) tamale.

2 kinds of Tamales - Edit
They offer tamales from 2 different regions: one made of corn masa and the other of rice. We’ve tried corn tamales in Colombia before, so we opted for the rice one. It was delicious and a nice portion. I absolutely loved the sauces and they had no problem giving us some more. The guanábana juice was also delicious and if it’s not sweet enough for you, just ask them to add a little panela 🥰😌💚

Cheap and Disappointing - Edit
Unfortunately they did not have the vegan lasagna when I was there, so I had the rice dish instead. It was cheap but not quite enough food. I also had a drink, which was somewhat disappointing. It also took ages to make and was done when I already had gotten my food.

Delicious and cheap! - Edit
If you’re near the Botanic Gardens and looking for a feed, this place has got you. We both got the cazuela de frijoles (Colombian bean dish), and were super surprised! The serving size was enormous, at only 20K COP. The owner is very nice too.

Very tasty tamales - 100 % recommendable - Edit
It was my first time eating tamales, I have really liked them. It was delicious and also the price of 14k $ was really reasonable. I had a fresh maracuya juice with it😉the only negative point is that they use plastic cutlery. That could be improved.

Something not quite right - Edit
Had the bean stew with toppings and rice. The rice tasted fermented a little and the beans too salty. The price was high for what it was. Would not return.
