CLOSED: La Surcana - Vegfood

[I went there on February 13th, 2015. It is important to call for a reservation as they prepare most of the things according the reservations they have.]

The concept of this little (but nice) 'pizzeria' is to prepare you vegan pizzas "a la parrilla" (barbecue), which means you can select your toppings and your pizza will be grilled in front of you.
All pizzas come with a salsa made of eggplants, another with tomatoes and some vegan cream cheese (3 different are available). The base can be selected "whole grain" with an additional fee.
You can chose from 4 different toppings (40 soles) to 6 (50 soles). The toppings include broccoli, asparagus, caramelized onions, fresh tomatoes, corn, etc. (the green or black olives, as well as other small toppings, are free)

The atmosphere is nice, a little bit cold tough, which may be due to the day we went because we were the only clients in the local. The pizza is big enough for two to three persons, so the price is really correct. I'd suggest to go there with a group of friends to share the pizzas.
They have also home-made lemonades and juices, the jar of lemonade for 12 soles was much more than what we needed, so (again) the price seems very correct.

There could be some efforts made for the atmosphere (the loud radio wasn't really enjoyable, for example), but that's all.

It is important to think about the traffic if you come from Miraflores / Barranco, because this avenue (Angamos / Primavera) is often jammed, especially on Fridays evenings, so you may have trouble getting there (it took us one hour to go to the restaurant, and only 15 minutes to go back to our house then) and with the price of the taxi too (the prices may jump from 10 soles to 20 if the traffic jam is too big, and depending from the hour and/or the location of departure)
