Growing vegan menu - Edit
Lovely family run Italian restaurant with a growing vegan menu, with nice options. Would be 4 stars but I’d say it’s slightly overpriced.
Read moreI visited La Storia in 2021 and they had one vegan option - risotto, so I was very surprised and glad to see they now have a full vegan menu.
We started with the Antipasto Vegano (artichoke, sun dried tomatoes, olives and bread oil) which was decent, nothing extraordinary.
Followed that up with the pea and shallot ravioli with pistachio pesto, which was delicious - small/medium portion size was ideal here as it was quite rich.
We didn’t need a desert but thought we’d try as it’s not often you can get vegan Italian food. We had the Dissarono affogato and chocolate and toffee tarte. I’m a sweet person so I really enjoyed the tarte. Could have done without the affogato but it was pleasant enough to try.
Great service and all the staff are very friendly. Restaurant has a great feel to it. I would visit again, but only for a special occasion.
