One of my favorite places in Atlanta! - Edit
La Semilla is one of my favorite fully plant based restaurants in Atlanta. I go every time I have a chance. I’ve had about everything on the menu but love everything from the Mantequilla Beans to the Apple Empanadas.

Fabulous all around - Edit
What a delightful restaurant! A non-veggie friend brought me here and we both enjoyed every aspect of it—the food, drinks, presentation, service, decor. Highly recommend. Peach Tinga Tostadas were a unique and delicious appetizer. Shrooms and Grits were great, though maybe a bit more deep fried than I personally like. My friend had the Enmoladas Verdes, which he couldn’t stop raving about. Aguas Chiles mocktail was terrific and you must try the Seis Leches dessert. Will definitely return.

Best - Edit
The best. I got the lions mane mushroom, and our table got the queso and salsa. The lions mane mushroom was good, it was quite chewy, and the sauce it came with was lovely. I'm not sure if it beats Derek Sarno's style though. The queso was good, but the salsa was REALLY good. You absolutely must get the salsa. But the best thing was the trés leches cake. Beautiful and unbeatable! The bill was high, but it was my birthday so 🤷🍰

Pros: Service (thanks Sarah!) + allergy safety, Deco, Food (duh)
Cons: The music was a smidge too loud, imo, over opportunistic water refills

Best Restaurant in Atlanta - Edit
This is my favorite restaurant in Atlanta - and possibly my favorite restaurant in general. The concept is plant-based Latin-fusion food and just about every dish on the menu is a winner.
Read moreFor my latest trip, we sampled some of my all-time favorites and some new dishes. To start, I had one of the seasonal cocktails with a tequila base that was excellent (picture included). The other diners I was with had the aqua fresca and a passionfruit mocktail - all winners.
Since it was Thursday night, we did the nacho plate - only available on Thursdays. As big as it was, it went fast and we had plenty of room for more dishes.
For an appetizer, we decided on the masa-fried mushroom. Although expensive for an appetizer, the lions mane mushroom was fried perfectly and the mash it was served over was delicious and had a great gravy.
For our main dishes, we split a number of the handhelds: carne asada tacos, a cubano, and a crunchwrap supreme - all of which we had ordered before. The crunchwrap never disappoints and is my favorite, but both other handhelds are worth ordering.
For dessert, we decided to try all three choices: a flan, strawberry tres leches, and pumpkins fritters.
Although my favorite was the pumpkin fritters, none of us ranked the desserts in the same order. Everyone had a different favorite dish.
If you park in the garage behind the restaurant, they will validate parking.
Pros: Excellent Food, Seasonal Menu is Great, Affordable High-End Meal

It’s upscale and nice to go to. The queso was great. The tacos yum . The FLAN tho yummy. The enchiladas were a little spicy for me but next time I’d do black bean and queso. Drinks were mid $104 for 2 drinks 1 app 2 entrees

Please bring back the Crunch Wrap! 🌮 - Edit
This place is absolutely delicious — they take creative spins on classic Mexican dishes and veganize them perfectly. When they used to do pop-ups, they had this amazing buffalo cauliflower crunch wrap that I still dream about. I really hope they bring it back one day because it was that good! Honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu — everything is flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. Highly recommend!

It’s a vibe;) - Edit
La Semilla has a great menu, bar, and service. It’s hard to find all three in one place that’s all vegan. Went for an anniversary dinner with my husband and no kids and got the Cuban, a fried mushroom and gravy appetizer and mushroom tacos which were all phenomenal.

Fantastic flavors! We ordered the Cubano, the Cubarrito, the Yuca con Queso and the Mantequilla Beans. The Yuca con Queso was delicious and fairly filling, so we took home half of our Cubano & Cubarrito. Everything was terrific! I’m looking forward to returning to try out more of the menu.

Great tapas place - Edit
The food was great and the queso was some of the best I’ve had. Our total for 2 people was $76 for 2 appetizers, an order of tacos, and a larger plate. We did not have drinks. We left full but not too full—probably because of all of the chips we ate. If we had been quite hungry, we easily could’ve ordered one or two more plates—it was described as a tapas place to us, so the portions weren’t shocking to us. Our service was fine. They were busy but our server checked in on us here or there. We walked to the brewery across the road to sit outside and enjoy the weather afterwards.
Read morePros: Queso, Not your average vegan offerings, Brewery across the road
Cons: Out of the way/far from hotel, Somewhat small venue—wondering about accessibility, Felt a bit rushed (by server, not host)

Can’t beat the taste - Edit
We came as a couple and had to share the queso blanco (twice), emmoladas verdes, and al pastor tacos. The queso was warm and delectable, the emmoladas drizzled with creamy, gorgeous toppings, and the tacos different from what I’d normally have, and leaving me aching for more. Everything was sublime, and whilst pricey (our total was $76 incl. tax & tip) totally worth it, and seemingly on par with ATL prices.
