Good find on my roadtrip - Edit
Very nice owner who understands veganism and can speak English well. He even gave me a discount for having no cheese on the pizza and a free tea. Recommended!

Very nice owner, decent food - Edit
We explained we were vegan and clarified what it meant, and the owner was incredibly accommodating. He made us spaghetti with a good tomato sauce and pizza with vegetables and potatoes used as fake cheese.

The owner is really friendly and tried to accommodate but reality is Ouarzazte has very limited choices for vegans. Other reviewers seem really enthusiastic about this place, which I’m not knocking but the vegan pizza I had was very very average and the this is very much a spit-and-sawdust kind of cafe not a foodie hidden gem. They do have a tagine and the owner is happy to explain what is vegan so can’t complain. Very glad this place exists given it’s only one of two on Happy Cow in Ouarzazte but you can see a pic of the menu under one of the reviews below.
Read moreReality is Ouarzazate doesn’t have much vegan food on offer at all. Even the Berbere Palace hotel doesn’t have any listed vegan options but as ever you can make it work and cobble things together to fit.

Pleasantly surprised! - Edit
The food was delicious and fresh. I had Spaghetti Neapolitan without cheese and the Moroccan Salad and my husband has the Vegetarian Pizza without cheese. We also got bread, olives and mint tea with the meal. The owner was incredibly kind and so willing to accommodate us.

This place is absolutely adorable. The worker here is a very lovely man, ready to help and recommend food. The location is very nice as well. I would definitely recommend :)

Had a good meal while passing through. Owner speaks several languages and understands what vegan means. He confirmed that the vegetable soup, Moroccan salads, and vegetarian tagine were vegan. There are also vegetarian pizzas and pastas on the menu. Our meal was also served with complimentary bread, olives, and mint tea. There is a nice sunny terrace in addition to indoor seating. Prices are affordable.
