The oldest book village in Belgium is a second-hand bookshop with a vast collection in several languages. Is also a vegetarian restaurant serving food fresh from the field (some of which is vegan), a vibrant literary meeting point and a B&B. Open Mon-Sun 12:00pm-6:00pm. During holiday season open during week - also open some evenings.

Found this place thanks to Happy Cow and we're really happy to have discovered it! The food is tasty, they offer nice local beer. A lot of books to choose from if you wanna read too. The owners are really nice, made us feel like home!

Warm welcome guaranteed - Edit
We visited La Reduiste for lunch as vegan/vegetarians in search of a restaurant in the small book village of Redu that didn't smell of meat !
We ate a simple lunch of soup and bread the first day and the next evening we attended the jazz Friday event where we were able to taste a range of buffet options - lots of healthy, 'homemade', tasty food to satisfy vegetarians and vegans.
Owners are very welcoming.
And a bookshop as well !
Pros: Friendly welcome, Tasty food, Nice atmosphere !
