Great restaurant with a few good vegan options

The atmosphere in this restaurant is great if very much priced for tourists. I had the pumpkin soup and Caribbean veg curry. Both were fantastic. Our service was good and so were the cocktails. There were a couple other vegan options and their house made sourdough was really good. Also had the trio of vegan dips starter, SO GOOD. Pumpkin dip, hummus, and a crazy good salsa.

Pros: Delicious , Good service , cool if touristy atmosphere

For Cuba vegan standards 5 stars

Very nice place with seperate vegan menu. Was a great great for us.

Pros: Lots of vegan options

Cons: Relatively expensive comparing with other places

Good vegan food for Trinidad

Separate vegan menu (ask for it). We got the veggie curry which was delicious and a nice change from the flavors that we had been eating for the past week. Kitchen is a little slow so there’s often a line. If there is, go to Jazz Cafe a block away.

Pros: Separate vegan menu, Nice decor, cool bathroom , Good food

Cons: Food comes out of the kitchen slowly. , Can be a line at the door

Falafel, Burger, Tapas

Best place in Cuba for interesting vegetarien/vegan food. Vegan in Cuba often means rice with black beans or dry salat, so this was a real alternative and I was so happy to enjoy some falafel.
The restaurant is also a nice place to communicate with other tourists.
It's a busy place, a reservation makes sense.

Pros: Many vegan options, which is rare in cuba

Cons: expensive, like other tourist-restaurants in cuba

Vegan choices

Busy, popular place! It's the best option in Trinidad for more interesting vegan food. We treated ourselves here during the holidays. Good food.

vegan options

excellent service and good food. decent prices. for tourists, food is expensive in Cuba. everything is expensive for non-Cubans. in Trinidad, this is on of the best spots for vegan options. staff is fairly accommodating. compared to similar priced restaurants, it's a good deal.

veg heaven in trinidad

It was the only place in whole Cuba where the veg food was this good! We went for dinner every night :) nice atmosphere, very helpful people and creative tasty and diverse food and drinks!
We also got a tip for a vegan casa in Trinidad! Casa Dolfin, the owner is Susan.

Some options in Trinidad

We got a waither that was really good at english and knew what Vegan was (not common in Kuba). The bread was milk in but she hade three or four sugesstions of meals and two of thous was really good fore Cuban standards.

Bomb veggie burger

Vegetarian and vegan options are not plentiful in the colonial town of Trinidad. So happy to find La Redaccion and finally eat something besides rice and beans!

Great option in Trinidad

I was just walking around in Trinidad when I saw a sidewalk chalkboard with the word "vegetarian"!

I ordered the bean dip (called "ensalada de frijoles" on the menu) and it came with many slices of bread. It was very good, and I kept a few slices of bread to eat for breakfast the next day.

I also had the vegetarian burger without the aioli. The bun was like a falafel and I really enjoyed it.

The decoration is nice, the restaurant is very large, the service is good.
