Absolutely incredible

We passed this place on accident and decided to stop for the ham and cheese croissant, and it was the most delicious breakfast croissant I’ve had since switching to a vegan diet. It’s absolutely incredible and we wanted to turn back for seconds. Aside from the croissants there are so many other goodies here and everything was spectacular. Full stars. I’d go back if I could (we tried it on vacation)

Early bird catches the vegan worm

Been here twice and both times we got there a little bit too late and they'd sold out of the lunch items. Husband is keen to try the Reuben! But it's a super little cheeze shop with a good selection and helpful staff.

Owner is a delight

The owner makes their own butter and cheese, gave out so many samples. Has a freezer in the back with some vegan items I’ve never seen before. Bought some vegan bacon to try. They also had tank tops with 🤎 V 🧀. That was pretty cute. We got two of those but they only carry size medium 😐

Lovely spot for coffee and croissants

At the risk of sounding disloyal to the nearby patisserie (which we love), we sat down here for a coffee and a couple of pastries. The weather was pleasant enough to sit outside. Although there was initially a small mistake with our order, our almond croissant and pain au chocolate were nice enough, although I wouldn’t often eat something so sweet. I didn’t try anything on the menu but plan to next time I’m in Sydney now that I know the shop also serves toasties and bagels.

Easy Vegan Cheesy

Grabbed a Mediterranean and Ruben Toastie from their stall at Carriageworks Markets. The Mediterranean was very nice and loaded with feta, maybe even a little too much if that's possible. The Ruben was good, but not as good as the Mediterranean, it was just a little too sour tasting with the kraut and the mustard together.

Also visited the store and had a chat with the owner who was super friendly both times.

Could be considered pricey, but on point for vegan cheese, plus they offer free samples.

Awesome that this place exists, will definitely visit again whenever I'm in Sydney.

Probably the best vegan cheese in Australia

The options are decent for Australia, which is definitely not a world leader in decent vegan cheese. I hope they make more in house things and experiment further!

Pros: Limited variety

Cons: Costs are high

Not just cheese

We happened to go here on a day they were doing wine and cheese tastings. I'm not a huge fan of cheese, but I love the other products they had on offer. In particular the tiramisu cupcake (from Loi + me) which was delicious, soft and fluffy and not overly sweet.
The fresh fig and ricotta tart filling was quite sweet, but the pastry was sooo good, crispy and flaky. They also stock pecan pate from Bloodwood, it's delicious, very creamy, with a bit of an onion flavour.
I would love to come here for their high tea, it sounds amazing.
Also, I just LOVE the look of the shop, the chandelier, the exposed brick; and the shop name is perfect.

Pros: Delicious pate, cupcake, tarts

Cheese and Co

This little shop specializes in selling vegan cheese alternatives, which have been carefully selected by the owners. Apart from curated cheese, they also offer jam, sauces as well as croissants, which could be combined with said cheeses.

It's amazing how diverse and flavorful certain vegan cheeses have become by now!

The owner is very friendly and kindly introduces each cheese or gives advice if you are looking for something in particular.

Prices are quite high, though.

Amazing vegan cheses

Cute little store with artisanal cheeses. They are expensive so you want to buy these more for platters than regular day to day cheese use. Lots of the cheeses come in glass jars which is a better for the environment than plastic packaged products. I bought the labne made by their own brand, it was absolutely delicious. Will visit again to try more products. They also serve some food which I am yet to try. It looks incredible though.

Pros: Fully vegan cheese store, Delicious cheeses

Cons: Expensive

Must try!

The most incredible vegan cheeses you will ever try. Everything the owners choose to stock is because they genuinely love the product.
Great to DIY a cheeseboard at home delicious enough to impress omnivores, but also amazing tasting events in store!

The best Australian made cheese

Cheese makers and mongers, the team have curated a range of the best Australian made cheese.

Have a chat with Michelle (co-founder) and she'll help take the guess work out of choosing the right options for your cheeseboard.

The store is *lush* with greenery, chilled tunes (co-founder Carl is also a DJ), and delish cheese.

My favourites include:
* Baked Almond Feta, Rebel & Rascal (their own brand)
* Artisa Blue (they recently introduced me to this one, and it's so good!)
* Fig jam (pairs perfectly with the Artisa Blue)

Vegan cheese heaven

Attended a cheese tasting event at La Petite Fauxmagerie and it was excellent! The tasting event was beautifully planned and executed by Carl and Michelle. We tasted more the 10 products, each one was so delicious! Carl and Michelle shared interesting stories about where and how the cheese was made and the night was great fun. This store thoughtfully curates the best of the best vegan cheeses available, which makes it easy to ignore the imposter brands and get the good stuff. I'll be rocking up with some cash to buy the amazing marinated feta and blue cheese as soon as possible!

Pros: Delicious cheese, Great selection, Thoughtfully curated
