An institution - Edit
They’ve been making Paella more than 125 years, so you’d expect them to know what’s up!
Read moreThe vegan paella here is about the only thing you can really get, but it’s a one trick pony worth trying in València for their authentic vegan dish.

Good vegan paella, seafood restaurant - Edit
It's a big restaurant, specialized in seafood. It was busy and bustling. The menu explicitly says the vegetarian paella is also vegan. That paella was delicious, four stars! Bad sides of the restaurant was that the service was slow and that there's a lot of seafood, so don't go here if you can't stand other people eating seafood.

The vegetable paella is explicitly listed non vegan on the menu - Edit
The vegetable paella is explicitly listed under the section “creamy rice” with the text (non-vegan dish) and it is made with chicken broth. It could not be made vegetarian. We left.

Nice paella & crema de arroz ! - Edit
Make sure to specify that you want the stock in the paella to be veggie stock, as apparently they make the ‘vegetable’ paella with meat stock too 👀!
Read moreThanks to the lovely lady who left a review about this place just before me, we found out about the existence of ‘crema de arroz’ which was a lovely way to finish off our meal 🙌🏻
Pros: friendly service, paella can be made vegan if specified
Cons: ‘stressed’ environment, very full, kinda touristy

La Pepica - Edit
We had the vegetarian paella which is actually vegan! It was lovely! The waiters were friendly and actually once served it was very speedy! We also tried the crème de arroz licor which was vegan! Very nice and easy to get drunk off! Don’t be put off but the fact it’s not a vegan place , the paella is vegan , very authentic and very clear allergen chart on the menu, highly recommend (maybe reserve a table)

Are u sure the crema de arroz was vegan? What did they tell you it was made of? La crema de arroz is typical here in Valencia and its made with milk 100% of the times. I would love to find one vegan!

Great Paella - Edit
We got a table last minute and I have to say that I had mixed feelings about this place. The atmosphere is not „cosy“ and it just seems like a really touristy place. Service was really stressed out and everything took really long or our orders just were forgotten. We waited 1 hour for our vegetarian Paella (which we knew), for it to arrive with meat in there. The waiter then told us (it was 11pm by then) that it would take another hour if we want another Paella. So we waited again.
Read moreBUT: it was totally worth it! The Paella really was just delicious!!! Great thing as well: it is vegan!! So if you are into Paella and don‘t mind waiting, definitely check this place out!
Pros: Vegan Paella
Cons: Service, Atmosphere
