Very nice garden - Edit
I enjoy to get a pure vegetarian restaurant with fresh and delicious food. The garden is very beautiful and peaceful. I suggest to have a lunch in this place.

The original and still the best! - Edit
This place is just amazing... the very first hotel in San Marcos (try imagining how the spot looked back in 1993!), a true oasis of tranquility and good, good food. The friendly and knowledgable owner has created a wonderful space here... get lost in the winding footpaths through gardens and trees before sitting down to a different home-cooked meal every day, made mostly with ingredients right from their own organic garden. Delicious soups, creative plates, something tasty every day.
It's been my go-to spot in San Marcos for this visit and hasn't disappointed me once. They are always willing to adjust things to make them vegan (which usually just means holding off on one sauce or another), and every plate comes bursting with colors and great Guatemalan flavors. I haven't stayed in the hotel or used the massage services but I imagine they are top notch. They're open every day from morning to night, stop by, chat with the owner, hang out with Zeus the golden retriever, and enjoy this little bit of vegetarian paradise in the jungles of San Marcos. Highly recommended!
