Good food and good price - Edit

It's a cozy place with good music and staff. I ordered the daily menu, that was seitan with mustard sauce and integral rice, and my husband and son ordered seitan sandwich and mushroom sandwich. Everything was very tasty. All cost $785 with juices.

Pros: Tottaly vegan, cozy place, good music

Cons: no credit card accept

Feels like home - Edit

Home-made style cooking and very affordable prices make this place one of my favorites in Montevideo.

The food is really tasty and it is not made with lots of oil, which can happen at other vegan restaurants.

Also, the staff is super friendly... I love this place!

Pros: Excellent food, Very friendly staff

Cons: Open hours might change, Small place which can get crowded, They only accept cash

Heartwarming place - Edit

I go to college and work really close to La Papa, so sometimes I end up eating there or having take away.
Cheaper than lot of places around, freshly made, from the logo to the food everything is beautiful.
Last year they had a raw sandwich which was delicious (I think they still make it), the lentil burgers are awesome, there is one with tomato peso... just delicious.
They use a lot of nuts and seeds, and play it a little heavy on the oil, which at least I feel heavy in the stomach, but the flavors are great.
Also, the salads are with organic greens.
For someone who doesn't live in Montevideo, it might be a little far from the city center, but for a local like me who also rides a bike everywhere (forgot to say, La Papa is bike friendly) is really close to everywhere.
The place is two streets away from the seaside also, a touristic attraction of Montevideo.

Pros: Delicious and fresh food, Location, Nice stuff

Cons: Healthy but on the fattier side

Great food and service. Dogs- friendly restaurant! - Edit

The first vegan restaurant in Uruguay! The restaurant is a traditional old house in the best neighborhood of Montevideo (Parque Rodó)

Food is very tasty and inexpensive. It is served by its owners, which are young, nice and open-minded people.

You can go with your dog if you want :D

Pros: Tasty vegan food, Inexpensive, Dog- friendly
