No vegan options and VERY expensive

Fish and seafood restaurant, no vegan options. We only went for a comment from a girl that there were many options. It is not true, there are none but they agreed to make me something to eat. I was served fried cauliflower and cooked vegetables, with a little salad and mango sauce. It was good and the portion was good in size but what was my surprise when when I paid I see that they charge me as one of the most expensive dishes on the menu (my husband had a massive plate of octopus for half the price), 250 mxd. I talked to them, because the ticket was specified as prawns and I told them that it was impossible for a cauliflower to cost so expensive and they told me that this is what there is and that the salad has bean sprouts (which is not soy, it is alfalfa). A scam come on, on top of that they compulsorily charge you a 20% tip. It was tasty but I will not return nor recommend it, in fact this restaurant should not even be in happy cow.

Pros: Tasty, Good portion

Cons: Extremely expensive, No vegan options, Slow service and loud place

Amazing vegan dishes

If you are looking for a traditional "seafood" family restaurant, this is the one. It is a traditional palapa and has plenty vegan options that make you want to go back and try all the menu. It is seriously a must if you visit playa.

Pros: Many vegan options, great drinks, reasonable pric

Cons: Far from Downtown in Playa del Carmen but worth it
