Here 2x a month and always PERFECT - Edit
I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed here but all I can say is it is always a 5 star experience. Often come for the menu del día which is incredible value for money.

Good - Edit
Nice food. Service was friendly and rather fast but not much English. All vegan makes life easy. Not expensive but not cheap. Portions are proper.

I CANNOT BEGIN TO EXPLAIN HOW HAPPY I AM TO HAVE EATEN IN THIS PLACE!
Read moreEvery city in the world needs to have at least one “oveja negra” so as to make the world a better place!
I mean it!!!!
The food was AMAZING
The staff was nice
Prices were alright
But the atmosphere... OMG! If you do not know why feminism and veganism are so intrinsically related, well.. you should definitely go to this place and find it out for yourself!
I couldn’t walk back to my hostel after having eaten so much, but it was totally worth it!
They also sell merchandise! Take money with you cause you will need it!

So good! - Edit
The service was a little slow but the food definitely made up for it. The seitan sandwich was out of this world and the bacon tasted like actual bacon— it was a little scary even, lol.

Cheap and Queer - Edit
On the one side, there's a lot about this restaurant to love. The cozy queer decoration is right up my alley. The prices are some the best you'll get in Madrid and there's an overall great environment. I love hanging out at this place, I really do. But there's also food, and if I review this place as a restaurant, well... It's pretty mediocre. The menu is tiny, some of the dishes give out the impression of minimal effort (the nachos and guac are expensive and bland), sometimes you get the feeling you're having pre-made food, sometimes you might get a really good dish (chocolate cake, seitán toast, their hummus), sometimes you get something close to rot (Soy cutlets). They have bizarre choices like charging for extra potatoes and then give you frozen ones when they serve homemade with the rest of the menu. I don't know, this place is inconsistent. It is also noisy, and the staff isn't nor good , nor bad at their job.
Read moreAs a place to hang out, 5 stars, as a restaurant 2-3. But it's dirt cheap so go anyway I guess.
Pros: Feminist AF, Cake, Cheap!
Cons: Some dishes, Noisy, Cramped

Great food but bad service - Edit
I came here about a year ago with a bunch of friends and I remember the food was great and the place looked amazing with all its decorations but the staff was really unpleasant. It was almost like they didn't want us there. My friends and I kept asking each other what their problem was.

Servicio terrible ! - Edit
This place could be nice and chill, but the service is so bad that you can't fully enjoy it. We didn't feel welcomed there, and we felt that we were bothering the staff. The chocolate tarte was delicious.

This a VERY queer and VERY vegan place. - Edit
We stumbled across this place on our way to purchase groceries for dinner. They weren’t open for a full menu yet but they had small snacks that were available and delicious. We got a beer called “F*ck The Patriarchy” to give you an idea of this atmosphere. The food is good, there were a few things that weren’t fantastic but they were fine. We got the patè and cheese platter, which was good, and I got a jamón and queso sándwich which was also good. The chocolate torte was delish. There are all kinds of punk rock and feminist decorations on the walls with different t-shirts and stickers for sale that match the decor. We’ll definitely be back.

Good Food, Punk Atmosphere - Edit
Saw this place on happycow and gave it a try. The food was very tasty. We got the croquettas, a chorizo stew, and carrot cake. Come here for the food, but don't expect too much service. It's very punk and kinda cool that way.

Service was terrible I waited 30 minutes for an appetizer that never came, when I asked the server she shrugged me off like she didn’t care. I also ordered the hummus and it was very bland.

I have been here multiple times as the food is good when I’m craving similar tastes to my meat eating days. The prices are affordable which makes it a great destination. The service however is always slow and can sometimes be really bad. Bring your patience with you.

Despicable customer service - Edit
Looks ok from the outside, however when you go in you will find that the 2 girls that serve have a terrible attitude toward people, specially for men. When I went to the toilet I saw many stickers and written messages again men. I felt for first time in my life unwelcome by the 2 girls and for all the messages agains men that I saw in the place. I believe that veganism goes beyond animals and you need to also respect your own kind.

Reasonably priced but average food - Edit
My wife and I went for lunch. We ended up ordering off the menu rather than getting the daily special (menu del día) since it didn’t appeal to us. I got a seitan sandwich with a side of fries. Not horrible, but not particularly noteworthy. The price was quite reasonable for what we paid, and the sandwich I got was large as was the side of fries, so if you’re after something inexpensive to fill your stomach rather than super tasty, this would be a good option. The service was extremely slow and the wait person seemed to be very frustrated and overwhelmed. In fairness to her, she seemed to be the only one serving and the place was packed, but I felt a sense that she was irritated that we were there rather than that nobody else was helping her take orders, serve and clean tables. The decor (animal rights/liberation, feminist, anti-racist, antifascist and other leftist/progressive causes) was the highlight of our dining experience and it might be worth a visit just check that out.

When we arrived there was only one other table but it took a long time to be served and then actually get our drinks. The hummus was good but the burger I had was so burned on one side I couldn’t eat it, which was disappointing. It’s quite a quirky place but I wouldn’t go again.
