I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed here but all I can say is it is always a 5 star experience. Often come for the menu del día which is incredible value for money.

I have eaten off their other menu a few times and the burgers and wraps are yummy! Great coffee too.

Fun little place with good vegan meals. We especially enjoyed their chorizo appetizer plate. The Seitan and achiote quesadillas were very filling. I couldn't finish them. And my wife liked the jackfruit tacos a lot.

La Oveja Negra es genial. Un sitio seguro donde cualquiera se siente parte de algo. La comida estaba muy rica, se nota que lo preparan todo con cuidado. La única pega que le puedo poner es que no tienen aire acondicionado y en verano con olas de calor, aunque ponen ventiladores, se pasa un poquito mal. Pero el resto es genial! 💚

Read moreI was a little disappointed with my Milanese, 'chicken' gougons which were a bit bland and cold in places.
My partner had the Beyond Meat hamburger and it was tasty. The truffly mayonnaise with both dishes was really good too.
I would come back next time I visit Madrid and applaud the Oveja Negra's ethos.

Had the menu on friday for Lunch, which had a soup, a drink and a main. It was "cocido vegano" that day and it was delicious and very filling. The price for all of that was 11€ which felt like great price/quality balance for me.

Went here first for tea and cake and the next day for dinner. The cakes are amazing, definitely try the cinnamon roll! For dinner, loved the hummus platter. Burger is also very yummy and crispy chips with aioli mayo. Can also recommend the maracuyá (passion fruit) dessert.

Genial todo cómo siempre. Incluyendo el trato. Es un lugar donde te sientes cómoda desde que entras hasta que sales. Un espacio anti todo tipo de opresiones (tiene además una parte donde venden chapas, llaveros, pegatinas, camisetas, a nada de dinero, a un precio de donación, porque precisamente va destinado a las asociaciones que lo hacen. Como única pega diría que eche de menos que la comida el wrap y el perrito que pedimos estuviera algo más frío (y le faltaba salsa o sal por dentro) pq con el calor que hace ahora en Madrid sufrí comiendolo

Prices are insanely cheap, and the quality is nice. Plus it is a lovely multicultural neighborhood. It should be your reference restaurant in the city. I was reluctant to write this reference beacause its so good that I fear that everybody will go there and prices will go higher, as it happened in many places. Why on earth did they renovate the Oveja? - Edit
Food is still good, but my favourite thing was the environment. It had a very unique communal, queer feeling. Now it looks like any other pretend-to-be-cute-cozy restaurant.
