Must-see in Palma - Edit
I saw this restaurant in the documentary of Fitgreenmind and I simply had to go when I had the chance. The food is so fresh, creative and makes me want to go back for all the things I haven‘t tried yet.

Ambiente, Service und Gerichte - einfach der Wahnsinn. Beim Dessert habe ich fast ein bisschen geweint, es hat ein bisschen nach Kindheit geschmeckt mit dem Mix aus Schokokuss, Kinder bueno und Ferrero. Etwas hochpreisiger aber jeden Cent wert! Wir hatten zu zweit Vor- und Hauptspeise sowie Dessert, Espresso und hausgemachte Limonade, für knapp 90€.

It’s always a treat; the menu changes every month, so it’s always a surprise to see what they’re serving. For starters, we had tuna tacos and pistachio hummus, followed by grilled aubergine and seitan steak as the main course. Everything was incredibly tasty. For dessert, there was carob pudding with passion fruit sauce and – I’ve forgotten the name, but it tasted like Kinder Bueno or Ferrero Rocher. I can highly recommend this restaurant – it’s top-notch

We went for lunch and had the three course menu. We both (two of us) had different selections for each course and trying them all everything was really tasty and interesting. Great value too considering the quality and thoughtfulness of the food. Well worth a visit.

For starters we had the parsnip cream and the blue tacos, which were very tasty. As a main I had the tofu tandoori which was delicious. My friend had the Mallorcan style frit, which was nice, but could use more spices. For dessert, the pineapple cake was tasty, but the raspberry cake was not very interesting. Very friendly service.

Estaba buscando un sitio donde comer, me lo he encontrado por casualidad y no puedo creer la suerte que he tenido. Desde el primer momento, el personal ha sido extremadamente amable conmigo. Luego, la comida no se ha quedado atrás: una combinación de sabores exquisita que da como resultados platos deliciosos. No acostumbro a gastar más de 15€ al comer fuera, pero el menú del día (de 25€) valía cada céntimo. Mi nueva obsesión será el paté de calabaza. Muchas gracias!!!

My favourite restaurant in Palma - Edit
La Mujer de Verde is hands-down my favourite restaurant in Palma. I came twice for their lunch set menu (25 euros), which includes an appetizer, main dish, and dessert. All the options looked so delicious that it was difficult to choose, but luckily I came with a few people and was able to sample a variety of dishes. My recommendations would be the spinach salad with blue cheese and pear or the tomato salad with cheese, figs, and roasted hazelnuts for the appetizer; the creamy casareccia pasta with mushrooms or the vegetable quinoa tajine for the main dish; the carob cream with apple puree and orange blossom whipped cream or the lemon cheesecake for the dessert. Their menu changes seasonally; I love their approach to seasonal, creative dishes. They upload their current menu and pictures of the dishes on their Instagram page. They make great espresso-based drinks and feature a variety of local wines from Mallorca, too. Service was incredibly warm and friendly. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Y es justo lo que puedes hacer en este restaurante en el centro de Palma: mirar la ciudad por la ventana porque de ofrecer buena comida ya se encarga el equipo de La Mujer de Verde. Este negocio fue rescatado tras el cierre de Bon Lloc ofreciendo una gama vastísima de entrantes y principales (yo pude disfrutar la cena de la carta otoñal). Adicionalmente se ofrecen tacos y deliciosos postres.
Con ambiente relajado y personal inmejorable degusté el hummus de alubias blancas y remolacha ayudado por un pan exquisito de nueces. Tras esto, como ya me dijo amablemente una de las camareras que, si «sos de buen comer», hacia bien en pedir el estofado de seitán con patata asada como principal. Un acierto en todos los sentidos.
En definitiva, una velada más que correcta que no dudaré en repetir siempre que se dé la ocasión.

This wasn’t actually my first choice for veg*n dinner in Palma, but my first two choices were both closed when they were supposed to be open (one didn’t even exist at the address), and I happened to walk past La Mujer de Verde and saw that they at least were open.

For starters, I had the Indonesian carrot soup, which was delicious, with a slight kick of warm spices. A bit of bread would have gone well with it, but it was delicious on its own, too.
For the main course, I had the tandoori tofu with lentil dal. I had expected the tofu to be in smaller pieces, but it was one big slab of tandoori-marinated tofu about 8×8×2 cm in size. The flavour of the tandoori marinade (and of the chutney on top) was excellent, but the tofu-to-tandoori ratio meant it got lost a little. The lentil dal was actually more pea than lentil, which was a shame for me (I love lentils, but am not overly fond of peas); overall, I’d rate the dal as fairly average, not nearly as good as what you’ll get in even fairly basic Indian restaurants.
The lemon ‘cheese’cake with crème brûlée for dessert, on the other hand, was absolutely sublime – intensely sweet, tart, tangy and lemony (with a fresh slice of lemon on the size to enhance the lemon flavour even more), and with a nice chewy-crunchy crumble at the bottom. Stunning!
All three dishes were decent sizes – not huge, but big enough that a starter, main and dessert will fill you up very nicely even if you’re hungry. €40 for what I had isn’t expensive exactly, but it’s slightly on the pricy side for Palma. Then again, it’s a nice restaurant with a clearly upscale-ish vibe and décor, not an informal local eatery, so it seems a fair price.
Service was excellent and quite quick: I waited perhaps three minutes for the drink, maybe ten minutes for the starter and two or three minutes between starter and main. The waitress did a good job all round, joking with customers and putting people at their ease, and the lovely young lad working the bar and floor was attentively friendly and smiling enough that I just about managed to convince myself he was flirting, which was a nice added bonus.
I’d give 5 stars for the dessert and service, and 4.5 for the starter (5 if there had been bread), but the main disappointed a bit, so I’m leaving it at 4 stars overall.

Hier im La Mujer de Verde gibt es ein 3 Gänge Menü für 25€. Man kann jedoch auch einen oder zwei Gänge bestellen. Man sollte aufjedenfall reservieren oder pünktlich sein das Restaurant war voll. Ich habe eine Himbeerlimonade getrunken , stilles gefiltertes Wasser gibt es kostenlos. Es gab als Gruß aus der Küche eine Kräuter Aioli mit Kräckern , zur Vorspeise habe ich mich für die Tacos entschieden , als Hauptspeise das Seitansteak und zum Nachtisch den Avellana Mix welcher nochmal 5 Euro extra kostet aber auch so lecker ist.

We decided to celebrate my birthday here. The restaurant is elegant, the decor is beautiful, and the service impeccable. The servers were friendly and welcoming, and the young cook gave information as to the ingredients of the dishes we ordered. The dishes were all beautifully presented, and incredibly tasty. The staff offered my desert to me free as a birthday present. I can highly recommend this restaurant - I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
