We came back here a few times during our stay in Barcelona. The owners could of been more lovely if they tried.
Everything is made fresh so they didn't always have everything on the menu but that's hardly something I can complain about as what they did have was lovely.
Their only downside is that you can't sit in, its such a lovely place I don't want to leave.

loved that times were stated in the review but it failed to live up to the 10am start for us. got there about noon but the shutters were down. :-(

After discovering this place it provided me every day a fantastic breakfast, a tasty take away meal for later (in eco friendly dishes) and a good recommendation for great places that are usually not visited very often by tourists. On my next trip to Barcelona I will definitely visit Matahambre again.
Pros: very nice service, eco friendly dishes

Un restaurante alternativo, recetas hechas a mano, deliciosas y muy económicas. Una parada obligatoria para todo vegetariano y vegano en Barcelona. Y la dueña es muy agradable!!
