Wonderfull 100% Vegan Restaurant - Edit
This is the only restaurant in Elx. The place is small and homely. The food is excellent, 100% home-made, ecological, with local agriculture ingredients, and made "on-the day" no freezed or pre-stored... The owners are very very friendlies, with a real vegan philosophy. No microwaves are used. Animalist and eco-nature ambient. The price 9 € for day-menu is very competitive.

Closed restaurant without notice - Edit
We've reserved the day before and after a long search of the place we decide to call for directions : the owner respond that they closed the restaurant because they don't have enough customers...but nobody noticed us!! So disappointing, we were so hoped up about their food.

Had lunch there today, great service and food. Best vegan chocolate mouse I have ever had. It is a great mixture of Spanish and vegan cuisine. Would definitely recommend it.

Excellent food in a super-cute setting - Edit
My boyfriend and I popped into Vegetapa during a public holiday and were thrilled with the menu del día (menu of the day). We were offered an excellent olive tapenade with homemade bread followed by soup, a plate of traditional Spanish chorizo sans meat and a scrumptious mousse-like dessert, all for €9.
