La Margherita

This bar offers fantastic cakes, pastries, paninis and other delicacies, as well as a fantastic lunch at lunch time.

Me and my girlfriend really enjoyed coming over, so much so we came back again in the evening of the same day, while on a visit to Bologna.

It's a small, adorable place that really deserves a visit. If you want to sit down maybe call to check do they have a table, as they don't have many. Worth it to even just pick up some paninis and eat on the go, really. There is a panini with a beetroot salami and cream of chickpeas that really impressed me :)

We ate at La Margherita three times. For lunch we had a plate with a selection of items and an eggplant burger. The burger was outstanding.
This was followed by the buckwheat cake which had a layer of raspberry jam. In spite of being buckwheat, it was incredibly light and moist -- reminded us of the English Victoria sponge cake.
The savory pastries were also amazing. Get there early in the morning for croissants. We snagged the last 2 raisin and cream croissants.
There are even daily newspapers and vegan cookbooks and magazines to peruse over your croissant and coffee.
Lots of choices, delicious food and friendly service put this at the top of our list for places to eat in Bologna.

I went to the place on Sat afternoon and had a cappucino (soy/rice/oat milk to choose from) and crostata, both of which were delicious. The atmosphere of the place is very nice and welcoming and the service very friendly. The only disappointment was that there was no lunch option, only cakes, biscuits and small salty pastries. General experience very pleasant, I would come back if I was to visit Bologna again.

la settimana scorsa sono stato a Bologna per lavoro. Al mio arrivo ho tirato fuori il cellulare e con l'app ho trovato questo bar nel centro di Bologna. Ho fatto colazione con un capuccino con il latte di riso (potevo scegliere fra riso, soia e avena) e una fetta di torta vegana al lampone. La colazione mi è piaciuto talmente tanto che a pranzo ho portato anche i miei colleghi. Un piatto unico vegano per me e uno di loro e un burgher vegano per l'altro. Loro, onnivori, hanno goduto il pranzo come me. Ci tornerò senz'altro.

Bar mit Kaffee, Tee, Kuchen, Muffins etc. Der Betreiber ist sehr nett.

This place was really cute. Friendly vibe, good food. My partner and I - new vegans shared a burger, spinach pastry and a traditional bread with vegetables on top. We then had a chocolate cake.. all so delicious and good prices.

100% vegan, good selection of teas, coffee, juices, sweets and biscuits. Pleasant and relaxed environment, friendly staff.
