La Libelula Vegan Cafe

This place is incredible, the food is delicious and the cafe itself is so cosy and inviting. Would highly recommend.

I had the Hummus and the Seitan Wrap it was great. Nice use of spices. The chairs and tables have a living room feel and make you feel welcome.

Great service. So sweet. Peaceful area. Best of all the food is absolutly stunning! Especially the kebab - OMG!

Me and my family had a really great time at La Libelula. Its peaceful environment, nice design, polite and helpful waitresses, nice menu with great variety of choices provided us an all-round great experience. It's amazing, that Fuengirola has such place!

All the reviews written here describe my experience much better than I ever could and I agree with them 100% ! Wonderful owners,beautiful interior and a gigantic fantastic totally organic brownie and even
organic coffee - very hard to get in Spain - for those who drink organic coffee.

We tried the tapas and was served four very nice dishes, and we also tried the vegan cheese burger which was delicious! Our waitress was very friendly and helpful! The desert was a delight as well!

Fantastic food and presentation. Also great looking interior. Waitress (not sure if she is the owner) was very helpful describing dishes and ingredients. We had a great starter made of vegan salami, sausages and vegan cheese and as main we had moussaka (fantastic taste) and rice roll. If you are in Fuengirola don't miss this place.

Tasty and interesting food.

Although the way up to the city was a little long, as we are staying in the IPV-Hotel, it was all the way worth it!!
The food was delicious and as we were so happy to finally find some vegan food we ordered half the card :D the food was amazing and the waitress (and owner) really really nice!
But the very best was the dessert! A homemade chocolate cake to die for. Everyone eating there: leave some place for a big piece of cake! You won't regret!!
They also offer "menu del dia" from 13:30-16:30 where you choose between 2 dishes as starter, 2 as second an a dessert (or café/tea) for 9,90€ per person. They announce their menu each day at 22:00 for the next day on their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/libelulavegancafe/

We arrived too late for Sunday dinner, but the owner went out of their way to make a superb platter of vegan cheeses and meats. We also had two different types of hummus, bread, salads, all organic, all so tasty. We finished off with the best chocolate and date cake and two fresh juice drinks.
Can sit inside in great inviting atmosphere or outside in a quiet side street.
Reasonably priced, very helpful service and highly, highly recommended.

There is a small sign hanging near the kitchen of this beautifully decorated cafe that says, "There are so many reasons to be happy". That pretty much sums up my experience here.

The owner and staff were all very nice hard working people. The atmosphere relaxed and the food was excellent. We had a chickpea/vegetable soup and a plate of mushrooms for an appetizer, two vegan burgers, one made with eggplant and one made with a mix of five different vegetables, and for dessert we had an apple pie and chocolate cake (twice). I was curious how the burgers would taste, I've never had one with the eggplant or the veggie mix. Both were really tasty and served on a roll. (All of the bread in Spain is delicious!) Bottom line, all of the food was fantastic.

The desserts deserve a special mention, especially the chocolate cake. You'll want to eat that a molecule at a time to savor the taste as long as possible. We enjoyed both desserts so much we got two additional slices to go so we could enjoy them again when we got home.

I leave Spain Sunday morning so we are going back to this restaurant Saturday for another treat. I'm trying to figure out how to bring an entire cake back in my suitcase. Wish me luck.

My husband and I had an amazing visit to La Libelula. They carry a nice selection of vegan and lacto-vegetarian dishes and freshly made juices, with vegan and gluten free items clearly marked on the menu. Daily specials are also available, as well as tapas of the day. The cafe features outdoor seating as well as a nicely decorated interior, and the pleasant music makes a relaxing backdrop. We ordered the vegan tapas, fresh juice, two main courses and vanilla smoothies, and everything was perfectly executed both visually and in terms of taste. The service was also impeccable. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning.
