Unfortunate

For vegans they offer two main dishes, one of which is vegetarian but supposedly veganizable. Unfortunately, this visit was a major disappointment. We started with a seasonal salad which was fine but unremarkable. Additionally , they served us butter. When asking, the waitress initially claimed it was vegan, clearly not understanding what vegan means. After checking with the kitchen, it was confirmed it was regular butter.

For the main, we ordered the vegan Schlutzkrapfen “Cholera-style”. Even before tasting, the smell of cheese was obvious and after one bite, it was clear it contained dairy cheese. Extremely unpleasant.
To their credit, likely the owner handled the situation very professionally, apologized sincerely, and offered an immediate replacement without discussion: the other vegan option, a roasted celeriac steak. Sadly, it was bland and dry.

We were fully comped, which was appreciated. Still, after years of incredible meals here, this experience broke our trust. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

Aussergewöhnlich gute Küche

Es gibt eine sehr kleine, aber feine vegane Auswahl (2 Optionen Hauptspeise). Hochwertige Küche. Kompliment! Wir hatten Pizzoccheri an einer Wirsing-Rahmsauce mit Thymianschaum. Sehr, sehr lecker!

Pros: Sehr feines Essen, Herzlicher Empfang

Cons: Grössere vegane Auswahl wäre willkommen

Very good vegetarian food

Just dined in la Gorge. The food was really good and the staff very nice. There was a vegan salad, and a vegetarian starter on the menu. Two main courses without meet are available. From my pint of view at least one is a vegan the curry.

I find it a little bit pricy, but that’s normal in Saas Fee. It’s really a nice place situated directly ne’er the Fee Gorge.

Super!!

Mega überwältigt von dem netten Personal, wurde herzlich zur Kenntnis genommen das wir vegan sind und war mega lecker. Super Auswahl und Vegane weine auch vorhanden.
