Time to update an old review. First discovered Garrina in 2022 and return with excitement every year. It’s so special. Now in 2025 it’s fully vegetarian with many great vegan options. I’ve never tasted better wine in my life. It’s all natural, organic and vegan and they have a massive range to choose from. All glasses range from a very reasonable €5 to €5.50 a glass. We’ve had tapas here a few times and is gets better with each visit. Look up at the trees if you are there late at night when the place gets absolutely rocking and the wine is flowing. You’ll appreciate there is no place on earth like Garrina.

Went here for tapas and alcohol free drinks. Nice drink options even though we weren't there for wine. We ordered the vegan version of the nachos and empanadas to share between two. Big portions and really delicious.

I loved La Garrina. Their staff is super kind and know their stuff when it comes to vegan food. Me and my friend shared the nachos and two vegan empanadas with vegan cheese that were super yummy. The drink selection was also good. We went back to have the exact same food, that's how much we liked it. Thank you La Garrina!!

Lovely and fun find in Girona - Edit
Stopped into this cute little place to find they have vegan options! I loved the vibe, fresh flowers on the table and really unique, creative, and beautiful food. Had the nachos with vegan cheese. Fantastic!

While not everything is 100% vegan, all dishes are vegetarian, and there are plenty of vegan options available. The use of fresh ingredients results in incredibly flavorful meals. Even my husband, who is a true meat lover, thoroughly enjoyed his meal and is eager to come back again!

If you bring a lot of time and patience the place is great. The food tastes great and the vegan choices are good. They also play old music on records. Unfortunately our table was in front of the wine cooler so I had to give place every time they needed a bottle. The food took pretty long and they also forgot about one order.

We loved this place! Right in the middle of the city, very lively - always busy so make sure you get here early. Great wine, but most importantly caters really, really well for vegans. Lots of vegan food options on the menu, and they’ll even make suggestions on how to vegan-ise others. Six stars for the vegan cheeseboard alone 🤤

Very special little restaurant/ bar. The choice of vegan and natural wines is outstanding. The tapas is lovely and the menu has a big percentage of vegan options. It’s situated in a beautiful part of Girona and the staff are very friendly.

Es gibt eine Reihe von veganen Speisen oder Gerichte die sich veganisieren lassen. Der Service ist super kompetent und freundlich. Die Weine sind alle bio und können vorher probiert werden. Ich empfehle den orangen (die Farbe nicht die Frucht) Wein. Wir hatten die vegane Käseplatte (Yummy), das Tomatenbrot und ein belegtes Brot mit Gemüse und veganen Käse.
