Great atmosphere, delicious tortilla

If you're even remotely close, it's well worth the detour. Restaurant has a very laid back atmosphere. The vegetarian plate with tapas is delicious. The tortilla is the absolute highlight.

Typical canario - perfect

We went on a hike to guigui and came here afterwards to eat. It was so nice!! They have a cactus garden, goats, pigs, free bread and gifted us bananas when we went out!

The food is made with love and really good! Perfect canary experience!

An oasis

We struck lucky here, while staying in an excellent hostel only a few minutes walk away but without a guests kitchen. There was nothing much else in the vicinity but we received a warm welcome and given the vegetarian menu, comprising six choices, most of them vegan.

I had vegetable croquettes which came with an imaginative salad which included fruits and a choice of either chips or Canarian style potatoes. My wife had ropaviejas, a filling and well flavoured casserole of chick peas and vegetables with the same accompaniments. Both were very good and remarkably cheap. Our waiter spoke some English and we a little Spanish so communication wasn't a problem.

Service was fairly slow, but that's a good indication that the food is freshly prepared. I didn't ask about their opening hours but they were open on the Sunday evening of our visit.

Pros: Big portions, Friendly staff, Excellent value

Cons: You'll have to wait maybe 30 mins for your food.

A must for veggies visiting this part of the island

There's very little option for veggies on the west side of Gran Canaria so this place was a real find. There is only the one main meal - vegetarian tapas for 2 costing €16, but this was imaginative & plenty of it. The chef came out to talk to us (he spoke good english) and delivered a large dish with a mix of vegetables (including Canaria potatoes, broccoli croquettes), fruit (including figs, starfruit, olives) , tofu, & grilled cheese. Banana (cut from massive by bunch) & cointreu finished the meal nicely.

Pros: Chef was clearly passionate about his food & the q

Cons: only the one veggie options (vegan without the che
