Nice, but small - Edit
This is really just a cooler with a selection of artisan vegan cheeses inside Purezza. It is nice, but a bit disappointing, since the selection is really not that much bigger than in a well-stocked Planet Organic or something.

creamy, very mild brie - Edit
Bought one of their packaged bries to-go from a fridge near the entrance to Purezza. Creamy consistency with a nice rind, but so mild it bordered on flavorless.

Disappointing - Edit
We were looking forward to visiting Thd Cheese cellar and made a trip into London for it. We left asking ourselves where we could go and eat. Never a good sign. The ‘tasting’ concept should be highlighted better and reflected in the prices. We paid £65 for about £5 of cheese and a LOT of bread. Even the paired drinks barely wet the bottom of the glass. The company’s cheeses are amazing. But we knew that already as we’ve bought them before. But this whole ‘Cheese Cellar experience’ just left us feeling deflated. If you haven’t tried their cheeses then you might enjoy this. If you have tried them, then the adds nothing.
Read moreThen at the end the payment system tried adding a tip onto the bill which already included a 12.5% service fee.
Pros: The cheeses are the best you’ll find
Cons: Overpriced Cheese Cellar, Tiny portions

Cozy wine & cheese night - Edit
My spouse and I came here our first night in London and it was perfect. The servers were helpful and knowledgeable and super sweet. We split the Camembert (absolutely amazing) and the bleu cheese (also amazing). We really wanted to do dessert since all 3 options sounded delicious, but we were too full. Luckily they had the tastiest espresso martini that did the trick instead. Only downside was that the bleu cheese came with a gluten free bread (we’re not gluten free). It was still tasty, just not as good as I was hoping for. Also each cheese could probably come with more bread in general.

Amazing experience - Edit
Lovely experience coming into the cheese cellar, they had put out my name on the table and everything was very cute and professional and felt very exclusive. The cheeseboards were pretty generous and we even got free extra bread. Food was incredible, would recommend the Minir threat and the charcoal thing and also the truffle! The mocktail with grapefruit was incredible (one of the best I’ve had ever!) and the tiramisu was very good as well. No complaints

Delicious cheese tasting plates! - Edit
We had the fondue and the truffle and bloom plate. The fondue was amazing, especially as I haven't had a fondue experience since going vegan. I do wish there were more accompaniments as we had quite a bit of cheese left at the end. The truffle and bloom cheese with sourdough and vegan honey was absolutely incredible, unfortunately they were sold out of that cheese but I will definitely purchase it in the future! I'll definitely be back to try more of the plates and the camemvert 😋

One of the best choices for vegan cheese - Edit
The hardest thing about becoming vegan was cheese, so I always look for good vegan cheese options and La Fauxmagerie offers this. Whenever I visit London I bring back some back to my country.
Read moreIt’s my first time to their new home inside Purezza and I loved it. Better ambience! Noelle and Natalie were so sweet and helpful too!
This time I tried for the first time the Camemvert and the Fondue. I was not impressed maybe because of the raving reviews. Not bad but I expected a more realistic “cheesy” flavor and thicker stretchy consistency.
I loved the accompaniments and especially the “pepperoni” which I can compare to a very tasty turkey ham - not pepperoni but still sooo good.
I have to say though, that I prefer ALL the choices from the first page of their menu, my favorite one being the Blue.
Don’t forget to buy some for home on your way out.
P.S. I would also love a traditional baguette as a second bread option.
Pros: Blue, Traditionalist, all the cheese collection, Service, You can buy the cheese to take home
Cons: The fondue - ok but could do better, Camevert - ok but could do better, Just one bread - would like more options

Amazing - Edit
Had been really looking forward to going to her since we heard about it, and it really didn’t disappoint. The food, atmosphere and staff were excellent, a great amount of options of vegan cheese, with perfect wine pairings. The servers (Veronica and Noelle) were extremely helpful and knowledgable, giving us tips for the rest of our trip to London.

Superb vegan fondue! 🫕 - Edit
La fauxmagerie has moved from a shop in brick lane to the basement of purezza in Camden! A range of vegan cheese boards available as well as baked camembert and fondue. Nice range of vegan wine. We shared the fondue and it was great - would definitely recommend! Cosy and intimate space, perfect for a date night.
Read moreVisited again as we have been thinking about that fondue for a while 🤤. Did not disappoint! We were told by the new supervisor Veronica that La fauxmagerie has now actually been bought by Purezza. We had the tiramisu and cheesecake this time and they were both fantastic! Both Veronica and the other server Noelle were lovely and really created a cosy, welcoming atmosphere!

Fondue and tiramisu! - Edit
My friend and I tried The Mediterranean platter, which came with Crack On (black pepper cheese) and C'e Dairy (cheddar style) and the cheese fondue which came with a deli platter of aubergine, vegan pepperoni, olives and artichokes and bread pieces to dip in the fondue. That was probably enough between 2. My friend had the red wine recommended to accompany the platter and I had a lager. For dessert we both had tiramisu which is my absolute favourite dessert but it was so big I couldn't finish it. The fondue in particular was amazing, and just something different. It was a quiet and intimate setting. The staff were lovely and so helpful and attentive. Would highly recommended!

Cheese night! - Edit
When you break your leg and have to cancel birthday dinner plans, you won't go wrong by ordering some cheeses and having a movie night at home instead!
Read moreThe website is easy to navigate and allows you to select your weekday delivery date. The cheeses arrive with a large ice block so stay very cold for their journey!
It was just the two of us, so I ordered La Fauxmagerie's own Clapton Chive and No Smoke Without Fire, along with Kinda Co's Summer Truffle and I Am Nut Ok's Ce'Dairy.
I really feel the standard of vegan cheeses has improved incredibly over the last 10 years, but there is nothing like the artisans to show how it should be done!
These cheeses really pack a punch and we'll be ordering them all for the Christmas cheese board, along with a blue.
The Clapton Chive is a melt in the mouth, strong spring flavours delight.
No Smoke without Fire is a sensory gift that keeps going- from the scented aftermath of an extinguished flame in the first bite to the heated bite of embers not yet extinguished - not so hot to be painful, just hot enough to know it's there.
Summer Truffle is my favourite cheese so far this year. Tangy and light, it couldn't be more accurately named.
Ce'Dairy is an old favourite by now. Always on the Christmas board, punchy enough to stand up to your still-too acidic homemade chutney, smooth enough to settle easily after your lunch. This one is added to every order.
If 4 cheeses can make someone write this much for a short review, what would the others do? I can't wait to order more and neither should you!

Inside the Purezza premises, you’ll find a fridge on the left full of La Fauxmagerie products. We kept them in the fridge overnight but by the time they were opened at the cricket the next day they were more like rich spreads. Loved the smokey cheese and appreciated the blue cheese. Perfect with oat cakes and red wine. Unfortunately most vegan cheeses including these ones are made with coconut oil which isn’t particularly healthy but I guess are OK in moderation.

Great experience - Edit
The cheese cellar is only open Thu to Sun evenings and you need to book in advance. We went for both the cheese platter and the fondue and I recommend it. The cheese is paired with a wine or beer most appropriate, the fondue comes with artichokes, eggplant, zucchini, olives and bread. The vibe is nice, the staff is very friendly and the cheese we got was full of flavors

Heavenly - Edit
We went to La Fauxmagerie just before they moved to their new location. This location was a bit out of the way for us but it was well worth it. I had been planning to go there from California on our trip to England for months! We had the wine fondue. My husband was just following my lead so had no expectations. We both loved it. The dipping food—artichokes, mushrooms, eggplant, bread, of course, were delicious and there was plenty for the two of us. If we ever go back to London we will try the new location.
