We were very pleasantly surprised to find this place when visiting Kalamazoo! It's a small, family-run, authentic Mexican joint with a vegan menu that includes multiple protein options: chorizo and al pastor. We liked it so much we went back twice in a long weekend to make sure we tried both! It would be nice if they had a tofu scramble or other egg substitute for their breakfast burrito, but it still made sure we started our days with a delicious, filling meal.

I enjoyed the vegan chorizo breakfast burrito and the vegan burrito. Friendly service. I asked for both to be cut in half and only one was which was unfortunate since I was sharing with someone and didn’t see it until they had brought it back from the restaurant (and no napkins). Lowkey kind of plain but good enough and again I was just happy they had vegan options (a whole separate section on their menu even!). $30 for two burritos and two cokes and a tip is pretty good in this economy so there’s that too.

The food here is really good! I had a vegan chorizo burrito and it was huge for the price. Very filling and delicious. The staff are all very nice and the prices are pretty reasonable.
