Where have all the vegans gone? - Edit
The tea room La Face B (founded in June 2016) is the first vegan eatery in Lille. Open from Tuesday through Saturday, you can choose among two options: the Burger (comes with french fries) or the main course, mostly Far East oriented. You can also try their delicious bakeries or just chill around sipping a refreshing homemade drink like iced tea or ginger lemonade. All meals will be accompagnied by marvelous soundtracks ranging from hardcore to post-punk via indie. Probably the coolest spot in town!

Rien à redire un habitué des lieux 😅 et chaque semaine une belle surprise un groupe de jeune vraiment sympa et qui savent cuisiner 😊 puis les soirées à thème super (Ce soir notamment "Burger") Ayant eu l'occasion de tester les 3 burgers proposés Ils étaient vraiment très bon mention pour le Cheese/Bacon le Fish'n'chips vraiment bluffant limite pareil qu'un vrai si ce n'est meilleur 😋 et l'effiloché de fruit du jacquier très bon également même si je l'ai trouvé un peu fort à mon goût puis que dire du cheesecake Citron Framboise avec base sablé recouvert de chocolat vraiment une tuerie de toute façon leurs desserts sont mythiques.... Un Grand Merci Rémi du coup en espérant ne pas écorcher ton nom 🙊 et Merci également à Louane (pareil pour le nom 😅) pour avoir proposer les boissons "Simples" vraiment très bonne même si je n'ai goûté qu'une sur les 3 mais pourquoi pas la prochaine fois si elles restent sur la carte tester les autres du coup 😊 Encore Merci et foncez-y ça vaut vraiment le coup vraiment!!!!

Really enjoyed the burgers! Next time we will try the tofu Mafé. This wee place was VERY busy. We called in for morning coffee and realised that they were rapidly booking up for lunch so we made a reservation and came back at 1.30 for lunch.

A nice place which has a little bit of a punk attitude. Really nice staff. Clean. And the food was really tasty and the price made us happy to. We had 2 choices we ate the curry with rice which was nice and made special cause of slices of almond which just have it just this something extra! The other option was burger with fries which looked really good as well. They also offer cakes and sweets

Went there on April 2018, we all had the burger and all found it very good. Also liked the fries very much! I also had dessert (cheesecake): it was a bit too 'fat' for me, but good nonetheless.

Tout ce que j'ai pris était délicieux, en particulier le carré choco-spéculoos ! (ça avait un nom comme "choco-mousse" ou quelque-chose du style je ne me souviens plus) qui est l'un des meilleurs desserts que j'ai mangé dans ma vie sérieusement.

The menu for lunch and the cakes are not always the same, but it's always good. And cheap! Happy we have this "all vegan" place in Lille, not well located but next to a subway station.

The team is really friendly and the atmosphere is great with some art exhibitions.
New menu every week, you can choose always between one burger and one dish (gluten free option available).
The price is really (REALLY) cheap. Of course, at this price you can't get gastronomique food but it's still very good.
As I try to avoid added sugar, I think some desserts contain too much of it.
Anyway, you should call before coming because it's often fully booked.
Pros: Really cheap, And good food at this price, Great atmosphere (with some art exhibitions)
Cons: Too much sugar added in some cakes.

I am living in Arras and ventured to Lille to check out the vegan scene. La Face B was a super cozy little café style restaurant with dozens of tea options, coffees, pastries/baked goods/cakes/sweets as well as two main course lunch/dinner options (All 100% vegan). I had the veggie burger that came with fries for only 6.50€, which is extremely fair! The dessert I got was a two layer chocolate/Speculoos mousse with a crunchy crust - I almost ordered a second one to take with me cause it was sooo good. This place would be ideal for solo, couples, small groups but probably not the best for larger gatherings. 100% recommend this place for its lovely staff, quick service, delicious food and chill atmosphere.

I'm sure there are simple means of transportation however the walk brings you past Vegetal et Vous (an all vegan store with household, hygiene and food items for purchase as well as some ready made meals!) so it was well worth the walk!

This is really the best restaurant with veg options and the only vegan restaurant in Lille. The staff is super friendly.
Read moreThe food is simple but very tasty. The meals change every week so you have always a reason to go back! There are always 2 options between the burger (always on the menu, very good especially with the different sorts of véganaise) and the weekly meal (check the facebook page).
The lunches are really cheap. I had for example a burger with french fries for 6,50€ or a copious soup for 6€.
Perfect place to have a lunch or for a tea-time.
I will definitely go often to this place and highly recommand it !
