I am living in Arras and ventured to Lille to check out the vegan scene. La Face B was a super cozy little café style restaurant with dozens of tea options, coffees, pastries/baked goods/cakes/sweets as well as two main course lunch/dinner options (All 100% vegan). I had the veggie burger that came with fries for only 6.50€, which is extremely fair! The dessert I got was a two layer chocolate/Speculoos mousse with a crunchy crust - I almost ordered a second one to take with me cause it was sooo good. This place would be ideal for solo, couples, small groups but probably not the best for larger gatherings. 100% recommend this place for its lovely staff, quick service, delicious food and chill atmosphere.

Although this place is about a 30 minute walk from the central train station, it is totally worth it. I'm sure there are simple means of transportation however the walk brings you past Vegetal et Vous (an all vegan store with household, hygiene and food items for purchase as well as some ready made meals!) so it was well worth the walk!

This is really the best restaurant with veg options and the only vegan restaurant in Lille. The staff is super friendly.
The food is simple but very tasty. The meals change every week so you have always a reason to go back! There are always 2 options between the burger (always on the menu, very good especially with the different sorts of véganaise) and the weekly meal (check the facebook page).
The lunches are really cheap. I had for example a burger with french fries for 6,50€ or a copious soup for 6€.
Perfect place to have a lunch or for a tea-time.
I will definitely go often to this place and highly recommand it !

The tea room La Face B (founded in June 2016) is the first vegan eatery in Lille. Open from Tuesday till Saturday, you can choose among two options : the Burger (comes with french fries) and the main course mostly Far East oriented. You can also try their delicious bakeries or just chill around sipping a refreshing homemade drink like iced tea or ginger lemonade. All meals will be accompagnied by marvelous soundtracks ranging from hardcore to post-punk via indie. Probably the coolest spot in town!
