Good food here - Edit
I went here several times while I was in town. I think this is the only healthy restaurant in the city. The lady who owns it told me that they use vegetables from their own farm to stock the restaurant. They do serve meat here, but they have several substitutions if you want to keep the meal vegetarian or vegan. They serve a meal of the day at lunch time (17.000 pesos as of September 2024, although they may not allow substitutions on the meal of the day since they are discounted. But you can always order from the a la carte menu) Monday through Saturday, and at other times you can pick what you want from the a la carte menu. If your Spanish isn't very good, you can point to the items that you want on your sandwich or salad as the food is on display in a salad bar refrigerated case. There is also a vegan bowl which is big enough to make an entire meal off of.
Read moreThis restaurant is in a food court on the second floor of a shopping center. There are 30 to 40 tables in the covered open air seating area, most with views of a beautiful church across the street. If you find yourself in Socorro, definitely come here at least once!
