Fresh fruit and veggies as well as some organic products

The Mercado de Abastos de Verónicas is a great place to stock up on fresh fruit and veggies, olives, vegan chocolate and some other fresh vegan products like tofu. However, the market seems to focus mainly on fish, meat, seafood and other animal products. So you need to be prepared to see a lot of dead animals whilst you’re shopping here.

Pros: Fresh produce, Variety of products

Cons: Lots of meat and fish is sold here
