Quaint and authentic - Edit
Friend and I came across this place from a google search of somewhere with vegan options (I was, he wasn’t - yet), and this was in June of 2018. Best spaghetti I’ve ever had in my life. I checked, just to be safe, that it was indeed vegan. I believe that’s about the most you’ll get from there in terms of vegan options. But, as I said, it’s freaking delicious so, I don’t mind. They also have great vegetarian options, there was a pumpkin gnocchi that I was drooling for but, alas, not vegan. For any omnivores in your party, my friend had a very hearty cheesy pasta dish with meat in it, I think veal, and he loved it. They also give shots of limoncello with the check, which was a) delicious and b) so cute. Good local, good food, good all around. Just wish they had more vegan options!

Not vegan - Edit
I went here and they said they have no vegan options other than pasta with spaghetti sauce. They apologized and explained everything well, though. Lots of vegetarian options

Definitely vegetarian friendly but vegan, not so much. - Edit
I was told by staff that their pasta was made fresh and contained egg. I also asked about the bread but they didn’t know the ingredients since they purchase it from a local bakery. You could definitely get a nice salad here but be mindful of the honey. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff are great. Edit: after a second visit, the staff seemed much more knowledgeable and recommend a pasta that is not made fresh and does not contain egg like the other pastas.

Pretty Rota and nice restaurant - Edit
This restaurant was only open Wednesday to Sunday but for me I'm glad my days in Rota coincided. I've never, as a vegetarian had a real proble eating out in Spain finding generally my diet understood.
Read moreLa Dloci Vita was, to me , particularly friendly, English speaking and at the time of my visit most items on the menu consisted of Vegetarian pasta dishes and mine was excellent.
Only small and had a very simple cosy, friendly atmosphere with some tables out and in and some benches and stools. Overlooks the Marina and sea.
Enjoy!
