Serves meat, vegan options available. Italian restaurant that is accommodating and will assist with vegan options such as soup, stuffed mushrooms, veggie pizza (with vegan cheese) and chocolate mousse. Has a lunchtime and early evening 3 course set menu and will substitute vegan options for no extra charge. There is also a separate vegan menu available on request. Would appreciate 48 hours notice for vegan groups. Open Mon-Sat 11:30-15:00, Mon-Fri 17:00-22:00, Sat 17:00-23:00, Sun 17:00-21:00.

Been several times now and always hugely enjoyed! - Edit
My wife and I were recommended La Dolce Vita a few months ago and we were hugely impressed with their wide-ranging vegan menu. We have visited 3 times since our move to the region over the past 2 months and each time we have ordered something different. There are a range of pasta dishes, range of pizzas (with an excellent vegan mozerella) and a really lovely vegan lasagne plus one or two other dishes. There is also a great range of starters and even 3 or 4 desserts.

Pros: Large choice of food on the menu, Excellent food, Good wine list

OK - Edit
Came here for a birthday meal. They could not find the printed vegan menu so we had to wait while they printed another one. They should advertise it on their website too.
Read moreThe highlight was the funghi starter which was rich and creamy, you must try it! Lasagna, pizza etc were nice, filling but relatively ordinary.
Downstairs toilets are complicated with ladies cubicles off a corridor that it feel like men walk past to get to their loos. Would be better if just a set of gender neutral cubicles.
Cons: Loos weird downstairs

Amazing vegan food - Edit
We had a delicious vegan lunch and couldn't believe how many choices there were, the best we've ever seen on a vegan menu. The portions were big and it was great value for money, £11.95 for three courses. We had the bruschetta, lasagne with garlic bread and side salad, vegetariana pizza and raspberry meringue parfait. The food was amazing, we enjoyed everything we had. The blood orange sorbet served with the sweet was to die for! The staff were so helpful and friendly and said they can alter other dishes on the menu to make them suitable for vegans. We will definitely be going back to work our way through the vegan menu!

Excellent pizza - Edit
Very good vegan pizza! I had the vegetariana which I can only recommend. Wonderful Italian thin crust style pizza with good vegan cheese, although not fully melted. Vegan menu has to be asked for but many options, pastas, pizzas, lasagne etc. Even has vegan sticky toffee pudding!

Very tasty & excellent vegan choice - Edit
Was pleasantly surprised by the number of options on the vegan menu, although I limited myself to just a main and dessert. Both were good and will definitely be eating here again.
Read more2nd visit (Sept 2018) - went as group of 3 vegans, all enjoyed their choices, including vegan lasagne! Highly recommend reserving a table as they are usually very busy and popular.

Vegan menu with plenty of options - Edit
The restaurant seemed really popular, and it was busy. The staff was friendly and our server gave me a vegan menu when I told him I was vegan. There were 5 starters, 5 mains, and 5 desserts to choose from. I had a stuffed mushroom, a pizza, and a chocolate mousse - all were great, especially the mousse which is based on aquafaba. The other choices seemed really good too, and it was great to have a choice of more than one thing. It wasn't super cheap but we felt it was worth it. {Visited as part of a mixed omni/veggie/vegan group of 4 on a Friday evening in May 2018.}

I love this place! - Edit
I have always been pleasantly surprised when coming here. The staff are friendly and when I’ve pointed out that I’m vegan they’ve bent over backwards to accommodate me. I’ve usually just stuck to the vegan pizza (there are alternatives), however they’ve been adventurous with the starter and dessert. On one occasion I was going to skip dessert (it’s cheaper on the set menu!) when the waiter asked if I would try a vegan chocolate mousse that the chef was experimenting with. I agreed and it was delicious. It’s now on the menu 😜 On my last visit I was offered the stuffed mushrooms which again were sumptuous and not on the standard menu.
