Kind people but food was disappointing

I went there hoping to eat pizza marinara or farinata but I didn't realise it's an evening meal. I got offered a lunch deal for 10 euro. The first course was promising - lentils, barley and tofu in a nice sauce. The second course was a huge disappointment. I got fried slices of tofu and tiny zucchini. There was no sauce or polenta/potato. It looked and tasted like the stereotypically vegan dish offered by omnivores. Water and coffee were included. The staff was lovely, they understood what vegan food is. It would take so little to improve those dishes. If you speak Italian you could be able to communicate better what you'd like. The cook probably would be able to accommodate any wishes or suggestions if you can communicate them.

Cons: Food was very basic

La cuntró delle Langhe

Pizzeria con ristorante Piemontese con piatti tipici. Per un vegano non c'è molta scelta ma sono molto gentili nel proporre opzioni vegane e venire incontro alle esigenze del cliente. Ho preso un mix di verdure come antipasto, polenta e verdure come piatto principale e poi la farinata. La farinata migliore mai mangiata prima. Personale molto gentile. Piacevolmente stupida.
