I orderem sandwich and pancakes. Sandwich had ingridient that wasn't supoosed to be there (because I asked about it) and in pancakes the was a jam insted of real strawberries. Portions aren't big.

Limited vegan options - Edit
I had their vegan sandwich. Though it had a good flavor, it was made with plain white bread that was very dry. There were no other bread options available. I was also very disappointed that the hotcakes were not vegan. They apparently contain egg.

la cozumelena is awesome! i had a chocolate crepe when i went for brunch and enjoyed it very much. i only wish there were more options but the menu was labeled well and servers were knowledgeable.

El lugar es una cafetería con la climatización y el WiFi. Es tranquilo y local.

Pero el café tiene un gusto re raro, más como los cafe americanos con especias.
La comida es ok, pero muy grasa y son solamente vegetales cocinados en aceite. Y ya.
Tal vez sería bien proponer tofu revueltos, ensaladas al lugar de las papas fritas con las quesadillas, y añadir especias con los vegetales.
No es malo, pero un poco x.

This place deserves 5 stars for their vegan options - Edit
La Cozumelena has great Vegan options with high quality ingredients. I had a lovely whole wheat quesadilla full of Delicious vegetables and held together with yummy hummus. I couldn't detect any oil in the quesadilla. It was "The Bomb". Also served with fresh sweet potato chips and more hummus in a bowl made out of a cucumber. We also had a couple Wonderful superfood drinks made without dairy (one had almond milk) and sweetened with dates and stevia.The superfood drinks made up a large portion of the menu and included many different recipes, all extremely healthy. It was hard to choose. I am so happy we found this place. The service was exceptional and the place was packed with locals. I just wish we found this place sooner on our vacation. We will return next time.
