Hearty meals from morning till midnight - Edit
This is the restaurant most people recommend when one visits La Plata and that's not a coincidence. This place is owned by a cooperative of 8 individuals who have either sold veg food in the streets or catered or simply had interest in vegan and conscious cooking which is always in development.
The food is wholesome. Almost all baked goods are made with masa madre - natural integral sourdough.
Variety of empanadas each week. Best day to get them is around lunchtime on Tuesdays.
There's a cool vibe. In the evenings there are often musicians. The space is cozy and central.
The kitchen staff can get carried away with music, so don't worry about asking them to lower it, if you're there to read a book during quiet hours.
Juices are always freshly squeezed, the cakes are a bit odd for my european tastebuds, but definitely worth a try with cedron, a.k.a. lemon verbena tea. If you read this, give greetings from Gudrita :)

Good spot for dinner - Edit
Went here with some friends. Dinner was yummy though food took a while to come out. Brownie wasn't quite as decadent as I would have liked (ie. Lowish in sugar and fat I presume...). Staff were very friendly and helpful.
