I really thought I would like this place based on the other reviews, but no. My husband and I just got vegetarian empanada to go. While the outside was crispy corn meal, the inside was bland mush. The staff was friendly, but at $16 for 4 empanadas, it really wasn’t either good value or good food.

Accommodating & Knowledgeable Staff - Edit
Authentic Colombian Food.. The staff were able to answer vegan food related questions. The tables were cleaned thoroughly. I had the Colombian tostada, yucca fries, and rice. Sangria was yummy too!

Best restaurant in San Clemente - Edit
La Columbiana is warmth exemplified! Sweet Eddie owns this place and her family all work there. Kind and welcoming! And the food is DELICIOUS. My favorite is the beans and rice (Plato de pobre) with a plantain basket on the side! Lots of things can be made vegan and the staff (especially Savannah) is very helpful with what the options are.
