Lemon Pie from Heaven - Edit

Let me say first off, I’ve been vegan 10 years and the only two foods I haven’t found an equivalent (if not better) vegan alternative for are flaming hot Cheetos and lemon meringue pie.

Well, now I found my lemon meringue pie.

I stopped by the cafe several times over my visit to Madrid and will dream of the pie for years to come.

They also had a very good selection of sweet breads (chocolate, banana, walnut, etc.) making it a cozy spot to have a snack and wifi access.

There isn’t a large sign on the storefront just a sandwich board on the sidewalk so keep an eye-out. I walked past it thrice before finally realizing my mistake.

The same barista was there every time I visited so I suspect he might be the owner. He was very friendly and we chatted about veganism in Madrid for a bit in English as my Spanish is basic.

I was lucky to be staying in a hostel two blocks away but others located more centrally located might find this cafe out of the way.

All together, I highly recommend this cafe for a hot drink or something sweet.

Pros: High Quality Food, Good Service, Excellently Selection

Cons: Hard to find (no sign on building)

Cozy cafe with very nice staff. The quiches are yummy, and they have a great variety of vegan cakes. The rawvegan cheescake was amazing. I will sure return to try the rest.

Dulces exquisitos, personal amabilisimo - Edit

Pros: Precio, Calidad, Servicio
