Decent options near airport - Edit
Traditional Costa Rican cuisine. This restaurant does not have options on the menu so you have to ask for vegetarian food and specify that plates omit cheese/dairy when ordering vegan as the description above says. They are very accommodating! It’s the closest place to the airport and car rental centers so it’s great if you need a place to grab a quick bite when you land or before departure from Liberia. The food is simple, but good and the servers are very nice. They bring your food out with several options for mild/hot sauce. Two options available - neither listed on the menu but they are happy to make them for you: Vegetarian Casado (with or without cheese) and the patacones. The patacones plate is delicious, comes with beans and is big enough to be an entree if you’re not super hungry. They also have a lot of fruit smoothie options. Specify with or without milk when ordering.
