Beautiful experience - Edit
It’s so nice to visit a place where you can tell they truly care about what they do. This restaurant was so cute inside and the staff was warm and lovely. They explained all the vegan options and served with love. They make their own kombucha in house and the lemonade was the best I’ve ever had. The guacamole was so fresh and delicious. I would definitely return.

Limited but sweetly accommodating - Edit
This was our first restaurant stop in Valle de Bravo--we were guided there by a fellow HappyCow. While our visit wasn't as stellar as it seemed for our guide, we did have a memorable time: the food felt authentic and had a quality of taste, the service was intelligent and welcoming, the atmosphere was quiet and easy. While there were limited vegan-specific options, the staff was willing to do cartwheels with a smile to turn just about anything into vegan fare--so sweetly, generously accommodating!

We just had dinner at La Chiquita. The food was *excellent*. Happy Cow won’t let me make this a five star review because the place is not fully vegan, and it seems unfair because this place is wonderful.
Read moreThere were plenty of vegan options: we had enmoladas with jamaica and rajas, a delicious frijol soup, and a perfectly seasoned nopal soup. The tlayudas were excellent too and there were plenty of vegan options. I also tried tejate (a beverage with maize, corn, and mamey pits) which I loved.
A delicious experience, in a charming space. Everyone working there was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed.
Don’t miss it! Highly recommend.
