Serves meat, vegan options available. Formerly called Artesano Panaderia and Bakery. Bakery cafe with Wi-Fi. Makes breads, bagels, pizza, and sandwiches with tofu, tempeh, and vegetable. Vegans ask to omit cheese in sandwich. Beverages include juice and coffee. Has stuffed breads for take out. Occasionally has vegan cakes. Open Mon-Sat 8:00am-8:00pm.

Tempeh and Tofu Sandwiches. - Edit
Staff is super friendly and this is one of the first places I went to which had vegan stuff in Quetzaltenango when I first came in 2013.
Probably the only place in Quetzaltenango to get tempeh as of August 2014.
Has a few vegan options, or things that can be made vegan. I usually just get the Tofu sandwich or the Tempeh sandwich (without cheese) on a bagel, to go.

cozy and reliable - Edit
This is a very cute and cozy place a bit off the beaten path to hang out/drink a cup of coffee/grab a bite to eat. The espresso is delicious! Downstairs there is a long bar next to the baked goods. Upstairs is a more intimate setting suitable for dining and reading. The very nice staff is knowledgable about veg and vegan items. Wifi works well here!
