One of the best value lunches ever! And in the heart of Barcelona. A fixed price 3 course menu of the day for 12.5 euros, including beer. A celebration of everything that is wonderful in the world. And listening to pipe music. Great vegan options, otherwise vegetarian. A must for anyone.

On my third visit to this place, I'm sorry to report they seemed to have lost some of their edge. For starters they have stopped doing pizza, offering piadina instead. We ordered galletes and a salad, as well as a black bean ragou which was supposed to contain cacao and other delicate ingredients. In reality we found it all to be quite bland, and the fact they first served us a galette with cheese, and that they also made a mistake when charging us, didn't make things better.

We ordered 5 different dishes that we could share each one of them were very tasty. They have good cocktails, the mojito was refreshing. The staff is very friendly and the environment chill and cozy, also quite different from the usual.

We had filled courgette and a vegan burger plus a vegan chocolate cake for dessert. All very good and plenty of food. Only thing to criticise is that the burger comes with only five (!) fries.

The food here was very nice and the bar is really nice too. Most things on the menu can be converted to a vegan option and the waiter was very helpful. Some of the vegan options were so good that someone on the next table wouldn't believe they were vegan. It is perhaps a tiny bit on the expensive side compared to some places we visited, but I'd certainly visit again.

Great people, amazing location, good food. We had a late lunch, choosing from the set menu. We had the gazpacho (very good), another cold soup with sesame (amazing), buckwheat crepes (good), the couscous curry (good), and the chocolate cake (good, tasted very homemade). The location in a kind of historic arcade is amazing, and despite being right on the main track, it is a bit set apart and clearly not overrun by tourists. And not expensive. Cheapest restaurant lunch we had here.

The ambience in this restaurant is really nice! The tables have cd:s and different instruments inside them, they sell art and it feels a bit like time travel. They also play really nice music, feels like a perfect place for a chilled-out glass of red vine. Friendly staff. I had black beans with cacao with rice and guacamole. It was really good.

The food is tasty and generous, although some of the dishes tasted (especially the cuscus) felt a little greasy.

A small wonder in the heart of Barcelona - Edit
When I want to treat myself I go to La Cereria, because I know I won't be disappointed. This hidden gem is a perfect melt between a jazz cafe, an art and crafts shop and a restaurant with southern american vegetarian cuisine. Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere and abundant portions that justify the somewhat high prices. Remember to reserve a table, and do try the pizza!

As we wait and wait some more I will review this place. The food was delicious and the atmosphere is very authentic. The bathroom is sketchy and the service is absolutely terrible. If you have lots of time and want some great pizza then come here.
