Great French food - Edit
This is the best meal I’ve had at an all-vegan restaurant in years, and not for lack of trying. We had the leek salad (“just vegetables” as my partner said but I really liked it), pâté (served with a LOT of cornichons 😋), and quiche lorraine. I might have to come back every weekend just for the quiche, it was so good. Desserts were great too, I especially enjoyed the very lemony lemon meringue pie (we got another one on our way out for tomorrow). We were a little less enthused about the wines but overall a really wonderful meal. We’ll definitely be back!

Disappointed with chef's experience - Edit
For my 15th wedding anniversary, I reserved and paid a $200 deposit for the chef's experience. I messaged the restaurant 5 minutes before my reservation to let them know I was running 5 minutes late. I then received a phone call from the chef saying he forgot to call me this morning to tell me he couldn't do the dinner due to an issue with the oven. I understand equipment can break, but this lack of notice when he knew this morning was disappointing. I would not recommend booking here for a special occasion until the business can find a way to contact their reservations in a timely manner. At least I got my deposit back.

A magical culinary experience - Edit
I highly recommend “The Chef Experience” inside the intimate cellar room of La Cave. In celebration of my friend’s birthday, French Chef Romy curated a four-course masterpiece, paired with French wines, that he discussed before each course. It was a full-sensory celebration, elevating not just taste but sight and scent. The glass cellar room seats up to four people and they do recommend making reservations at least a week in advance so Chef Romy can thoughtfully create each course for you. Mocktails also can be requested.

Hidden gem for amazing Vegan cuisine! - Edit
We have enjoyed ID-Éclair for breakfast pastries, and based on how good their vegan food was, we decided to try the sister wine bar La Cave on a whim. We were not disappointed! They feature a large selection of wines and a modest menu of vegan French food. Our host was very friendly and gracious about explaining the menu, and offering wine pairing suggestions. We ordered a number of plates and everything was amazing! The cheese board, mushroom pastry and bell pepper soup being standout favorites. I would consider bringing non-vegan friends here as the the food is that good!

An Ode to France - Edit
This place is very charming with their candle lighting and fresh flowers. The cellar has a lovely collection of both old and new world wines that was carefully curated by Chef Romuald. This is a nice place to relax and have a glass of wine while catching up with friends.
