La Casota

We stayed here for 11 days, and had the most amazing stay. Tiziana and Sebastiano couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful, every morning they made a beautiful banquet of vegan food - all home made and exquisite! Homemade bread, vegan cheeses (the best!), yogurt and fruit, pancakes, crepes, waffles, vegan sausages and vegan 'eggs', homemade Nutella. Everything you would want! There are nearby restaurants that cater easily for vegans, a coop shop with cruelty free toiletries etc and an own brand cheaper vego bar, and an ice cream parlour with 6-8 vegan gelato flavors just near the lake. They also provided us with a free bus pass to visit nearby towns (there's an amazing vegan restaurant in arco 5km away by bus), and each day they printed out a little newsletter letting you know what events and activities there were in the area. I will very much miss this little patch of heaven in Torbole and the lovely people who run the B&B :)

Ich habe mit meinem Mann 6 Nächte im B&B La Casota vegan verbracht. Die Unterkunft liegt in Torbole, einem der ruhigeren Orte am Gardasee. Der See ist vom B&B zu Fuß in etwa 5 Minuten erreichbar. Auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants, Bushaltestellen etc. liegen in der unmittelbaren Umgebung.
Das Frühstück ist sensationell. Die Gastgeberin, Tiziana, stellt fast alles selbst her: vom Brot, über veganen Käse, Aufschnitt, Aufstriche, Muffins und Keksen bis hin zu Sojajoghurt. Zudem gibt es jeden Tag ein warmes Gericht, z.B. Crepe, Waffeln, Donuts oder French Toast.
Leider sind die Zimmer schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Matrazen waren schon so durchgelegen, dass wir oft die Sprungfedern gespürt haben. Trotzdem haben wir sehr gut geschlafen.
Hier und da hätte es für meinen Geschmack noch etwas sauberer sein dürfen.
